Hasn't the recently released figures shown that we are most certainly spending the money....especially on wages.

Benteke and Sakho were massive spends for a club this size. You just can't do that every season.

because Parish has back pocketed vast sums, shown clearly by the accounts and his growth in equity. But the 'Parish does no wrong brigade' use literal smoke and mirrors to block us from this blindly dangerous underspending. Wolves, Brighton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield have all outmouvered us in the window, clubs that we should realistically be finish above.

im trying to work out why freedman is becoming this weeks scapegoat?

how does anybody actually know roy didnt want jach or rakip?

why is everybody forgetting yannick / ward / jedi...all signed for under £1m

everybody knows that the smaller clubs get last dibs on players, and most of our potential signings will hinge on the other clibs signing replacements first.

as it transpires we dont actually have much cash to spend anyway im confused why, when everybody knows this, there are still people bitching & moaning.

Have you not seen the league tables of spending and us right up there? And us outspending others for a few years? Obviously not.

Parish is being paid a very generous and a possibly over inflated salary but that isn’t pocketing vast sums, which I’d rate at millions, not hundreds of thousands.

Nonsense, Parish has made the decisions that have led to the most successful period for the football club.

He is paid a pittance for what he has done.

Agree that Parish is overall a great success for Palace, not sure you could call his salary a pittance though.

Jach is apparently off to Turkey having failed to make the grade and Sorloth needs Roy to work his considerable talents to mould him into something resembling a Premiership striker.

Time will tell if he will succeed at this level.

Didn't do Adebayor any harm! He's made a few quid out there. If only Turkey was like that a few years ago when I retired from football I might have considered making a bit of dosh out there as well!

In relation to what he has done.

If he'd been a footballer his salary would have been unaffordable......not forgetting the early contributions of the other three.

I have posted this link before, just to prove you are talking complete nonsense I am doing it again. 5th in last 5 season's net spending, purchased nearly for 200m and you still call that blindly dangerous underspending.

The simple truth is its not so much about who we spent money on but the very obvious failure to buy another goalkeeper and striker last summer and the failure to properly address the same issues in the January window.

We avoided relegation but any honest supporter knows that those failures nearly put our team in serious jeopardy.

Some fans just don't want to look at facts when it spoils there arguments.

But at least it shows everyone else they're talking utter nonsense!!

Parish was again lucky signing no goalkeeper in January didn’t blow up in his face but we are financially better off for getting him in on a free now.

Sørloth the jury is still out but the financial strains now are a problem in new areas and we were prepared to sign Adamou for £16 mil so we’ll see what transpires.
