I was just making a joke. Sorry it wasn't very obvious.

Fair play - I must have missed it

For what it's worth, Cairney is the obvious choice for me from the Championship, although I except he'd cost around £25m even if Fulham don't get up - I think Newcastle had an offer north of £20m turned down in January.

Not convinced either Vydra or Hernandez would really improve us, and for the fees/wages involved to sign them, I don't see it as worthwhile.

Luongo has had a very good year with QPR and may be a shrewd replacement for Cabaye - think he may get some attention at the World Cup though. I would also consider Grosiki as a pretty cheap upgrade on Lee; wouldn't displace Andros or Wilf in the XI but certainly provides more competition than Lee, and far more impactful off the bench.

Hodgson at the Fulham v Derby playoff match tonight presumably watching Ryan Fredericks.

Boro are out of the playoffs so I guess Bamford will be available

So will Gestede, who came on about 70 minutes and promptly disappeared without trace, and Traore, whose name seems to be Portuguese for "no f***ing end product whatsoever".

Time for a triple swoop. We used to have a guy with no end product but he seems to have gone AWOL

Not really seeing the appeal of Mitrovic when we have 3 big target men already, we need a smaller pacy goal poacher type.

Not fussed on Fredericks either, we should be looking to start AWB next year, so let's get in an experience cheap RB to back him up.

Tom Cairney and Massimo Luongo seem pretty decent in areas we need to strengthen. Otherwise I reckon our money would go further in Europe.

Patrick Bamford- yes, swear all you want, but he's still young at 24 and has started doing good!

Noticed you put this and didn't bother reading the rest.

Was toilet when he came on against Villa in the first leg and I watched the last 20 mins yesterday and didn't notice him so I guess he wasn't on the pitch and if he was he did nothing. Either way he's barely good enough for Championship.

He's 24. He did all right for a 24 yo striker, often forced to play as winger this year. 11 goals in the Championship and 2 in the Cup. Not good enough for the PL, but better than many 24 year olds. Still improving.

People tought he was s**t ever since he was at Palace. But he was 22 yo and played just like 200 minutes in total. We should go easier on players who are still young

He wasn’t good enough for us, Norwich, Burnley or Boro in the EPL. Chelsea fans think he’s dire & he’s not exactly pulled up trees in a top Championship side this season either.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

OK. Fair enough. Disregard him

Picture the scene...

Matteo gets very lucky and pulls a stunner, let’s say Nicole sherzinger, for my own tastes like,he gets her into the hotel bed, he can’t believe his luck. She rips off his boxers and whilst he’s just about to get on with business, the hotel tv has sky sports transfer centre on, all at once, he dumps her arse on the floor, he’s raiding the hotel fridge for popcorn and coke and he’s murmering and sighing about what teams are after what players etc

Nicole’s on the floor cryin and the like

Ok it’s late goodnight all
