All the games mentioned, but the two stand out moments for me were Tekkers penalty v Leicester, took guts for him to take it after such an indifferent season and getting our first goal and points of the season against Chelski. That for me was the start of our comeback thanks to Roy and the team beating one of the top six after such an horrendous start to the season was brilliant.

For me it was the home game with Watford back in December. We were 0-1 down and looking bad, again. I sit toward the back of the AW and some woman had had enough and decided to storm out. But on the way she stopped near me and let rip at the Watford fans, really giving it some, swearing and waving fingers toward them, very entertaining. Then she left and we scored twice. I never get why anyone would leave a game early but I’m glad she did.

The cake is the 5-0 drubbing of Leicester. The icing was the shots of Puel after the fourth goal, bettered only by RH at the final whistle. His relaxed satisfaction as he stayed seated in the dug-out was truly wonderful. Edited by Harpo (11 May 2018 8.41pm)

Giving all the other teams a seven game head start, and still finishing the season in the middle of the pack...got to love doing things a little differently, its the Palace way.COYP

On the pitch I'd say Wilf's late equaliser against West Ham. Quite brilliant. Off the pitch, I'd say the argument on this forum! Should we sing homophobic songs at Brighton or not? The nots won I'm happy to say for the sake of the club I love and for the diversity of our fans. Parrot

That moment we became certain of staying up.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |
