The likes of Pravda, Izvestia and all the rest live on - sadly not just in Russia.

I know that people in the West have learned not to trust their governments in the post war era but interestingly they are sometimes prepared to trust someone else's.
It's clear to me that lying and propaganda is the norm for authority and that the best we can do is try and figure out when those lies are in our best interests.
Sometimes the margins are too blurred to see it clearly.

We don't live in a Hollywood movie. It's complicated out there.

By the way, Iran has indeed been 'kicking tens tons of crap out of anyone for decades'. Anyone of their own people who demonstrate against them.

You may have not noticed the recent demonstrations over there that they violently suppressed.
