Yes but my point was that it all comes from broadcasting revenue so TV money is relevant.

It doesn't, at all. Therefore it's irrelevant.

If the question was how much money do we get overall for the season, it would be relevant.

If West Brom still have a chance of survival when they visit us it will be interesting to see how they perform.

Their recent run of good results may be down to the pressure being off and the assumption that they are already relegated. It could be quite different if they know they have to win to have the chance to stay up.

Good point.

Or maybe their recent run of good results is due to Pardew not being there !

Combination of both I reckon!

They’ll be down before they play us, a shame as I love a good underdog story and it would be incredible if they stayed up. If that’s the case I reckon this game is as good a bet for five all as there will ever be!

Think we need to win this one if there is a whiff of WBA staying up, extra cash or not. It would be a remarkable escape and they could be a fairly strong proposition next season, rallying around Darren Moore. I'd take Stoke, Soton and them down any day of the week.

Way back when
During one of our relegation seasons we beat
sheff weds last game 1-0
It cost them a few million as they dropped a few places and they sacked the manager because.
So it is very relevant to a club like us.
5-6m is like 3 players wages and that could sway getting a new signing or not.

2 mil bottom and 2 mil per place up to 40 mil winners. 10th=20 mil.

I think it was £1.9 mil per place last season.

I think that's not extremely relevant, but a top 10 finish has its prestige. You could then advertise yourself as a top 10 club

Clinton Morrison’a debut and goal if I recall correctly.

I would love to send West Brom down. Has anyone ever got two clubs relegated in consecutive matches? Possibly only us and Mark Hughes.

Yep. Already said that earlier, £2m per place.

A win against WBA is highly unlikely. Over the years many last games produce poor performances once we are safe. Last year we got humiliated by Man Utds near youth team.
I just cannot see us getting up for the game after a long slog for safety, if WBA have a slight chance of survival, then a definite defeat is on the cards.

West Brom need a draw between Swansea and Southampton tonight? A win for either side means they're shafted.
