So I guess the question for you is, is it 'wrong' to be rich? (I'm not, by the way). Is it wrong to bring something of real value into the world and prosper from it? I'm not talking about bankers, royaly etc., but people who create something of real value, like music, or useful innovations. Your point basically implies that it's immoral to be able to attend private schools, or be able to afford private healthcare. Unless I'm reading it wrong? I would never say it's immoral to be rich. What this thread is about is social division and minority groups undermining the desires of the majority. I'm saying that this is nowhere more evident in the divide between rich and poor, which over the past few decades has widened to a staggering level, and is reflected in the segregated social services the two groups use and the urban layouts we see around us. There are of course wealthy people who attempt to use their fortunate positions positively. But we currently have a government and media class drawn almost entirely from a tiny sub sector of our society eho are dictating the policy and budgeting for the rest of us. It is therefore unsurprising that issues like social housing and state education services are seen as minor to them, and that the man who's trying to focus our attention on them is regarded as a traitor, racist, delusional and dangerous idiot.
If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4 |

Divide and rule. Scapegoating. Bang the war drums, fly the flag when it suits, lie through your teeth and use the mass media to repeat it until it becomes a fact. The names change, the slant of the rhetoric moves, but the tactics stay the same. Our governments from Bliar to date aren't governing in the interests of the majority. For avoidance of doubt, I look at economic class not skin colour when talking about a majority.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

Excellent post.

Surely, you can't make a reasoned observation like this and then spoil it by claiming that Jeremy Corbyn is different.

White men over 50 will have lived under both labour and the filth and will be able to decide on labour now they know what the tories are actually doing after 8 years of pain. They may well decide in favour of a return to good quality public services, police numbers to safeguard us, crumbling institutions restored and fair government without racial bullying, we even had a debt-free economy for a while, imagine that. The day TB was replaced the worst day ever for the UK.
