Here we go again, another poor performance by a referee. The players didn’t help themselves and Wardy could have been sent off, but Doucoure how on earth did he stay on the pitch? When you look at the standard of refs in the Premiership this season it has certainly dropped, it is little wonder we have no officials attending the World Cup this Summer...

Why when there were only two PL games yesterday did we get the worst referee for this game when there must have been any number of more experienced ones available? Edited by PZ Eagle (22 Apr 2018 11.20am)

A shambolic refereeing performance. If he carries on like this then he doesn't merit officiating in the Premier League. I thought we got the rougher end of the decisions but Ward could quite easily have gone if he'd have got the second yellow he should have. Wilf was dumped on the floor time and again after the ball had gone but the ref failed to spot it as he was too busy ball watching.

And Mariappa admitted to Wilf after the game that it should have been a pen....Is there any come-back for this truly awful ref? What happens if the assessor tells the truth? Edited by peterg (22 Apr 2018 12.06pm)

How many bookings for "simulation" has Wilf actually had? I know there was one in a game last season that was proved he hadn't dived so including that and yesterdays, that means two can be dicounted! Dele Asshole has two this season and I'm pretty sure Rahim Sterling has also. Ollie's Dad,Ash.

Four, of which three totally bogus. That's over 3 seasons!!! So there are other Prem players previously mentioned(also Watfords own Richarlson.Snodgrass, who is still diving to cheat in the Championship by the way)who are not being hung, drawn n quatered as our Wilf is. So glad he went on Sky earlier to give his side of the matter.I think Wilf has a fantastic attitude, even when getting lumps kicked out of him with no protection from officials,he's an absolute joy to watch and jealousy from other teams and fans will just increase all the while he's playing. I wonder if the FA are annoyed 'cause he chose Ivory Coast instead of their England! But I reckon the FA will not be happy with his comments and will either ban him for that 50/50 or send him off next game vs Leicester while Vardy gets away with diving for a penalty with the pundits saying " He has every right to go down...". Also, let's see how the pundits react to Olsson diving for Swansea vs Man City.Viva la Wilf!!! Ollie's Dad,Ash.
