My wife and I happened to bump into a couple in a 'Local' last night and we started to talk about our win.My wife told them that if Palace had lost, 'Yours Truly' would not have gone out and spent the evening at home spitting feathers. And my wife who has known me for nearly 36 years was absolutely right.

Don't worry, Willo. Your secret's safe with me

I'm confused do Brighton have a Congo fan base or not?

Pre-match I thought Brighton were pretty loud given their reduced allocation. Thereafter they were extraordinarily quiet. I could understand when we were dominating in the first half -- we were so loud they were always going to struggle to be heard. Second half, when they were chasing the game, they were extraordinarily quiet. Really surprised.

Our fans were immense. Pleasure to have shown my little lad what it's all about. He was singing away.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I hardly think apologising for a misunderstanding amounts to derailing a thread.

A match that has stuck in my mind all these years as having had a fantastic atmosphere was Palace v Spurs in September 1977 League Division 2. The noise of the crowd that day actually made me shake.

Sadly we lost 1-2.

I meant to finish by agreeing that yesterday was up there for raw passion.

Is there a case for allowing 4,000 Brighton supporters to join us for our next meeting at Selhurst Park. It will give inspiration to our young players who are coming through, and send more of their supporters home unhappy - result. COYP

You can say that again! Large parts of it, anyway.

Their away end was the worst all season. Pathetic little weed gimps melted.

The Hark Now Hear at the end was so so loud

Fantastic atmosphere yesterday & up there with anything i've experienced at Selhurst!

I'm usually in the Holmesdale End but I was in the Arthur yesterday & was surprised how quiet the Brightbum fans were & couldn't hear them during the match other than when they scored!

I loved it how most of the fans stayed after the match & were still singing even after the players had left the pitch!

It was well worth the 8 hrs of travelling to watch it!
