Thought he had an excellent game yesterday. Great decision making under pressure and command of his box which spent a fair bit of the game under siege as well as a match winning save.

His kicking was unusually wayward but I don't get the modern obsession with distribution anyway.

Agreed he played well yesterday, he has been unfairly maligned on here, he isn't a bad keeper.
I also not bothered about his distribution, as long as he kicks it up the field. More of a concern is PVA pissing about rather than clear it up field, he nearly gifted Murray a goal.

I'm not a big fan of Hennessy & I hope he is not our 1st choice Keeper next season but he played very well yesterday other than his distribution.

His performances have improved recently but we need a better Keeper for the new season & that Spanish Keeper who is joining looks very good from what i've seen of him.

I wouldn't mind him staying as a back up Keeper but I don't think he would be happy with that because it could harm his place in the Wales team.

He's made big improvements since Dean Kiely was brought in.

Due to some of his previous gaffs many fans are far too quick to get on his back for petty things.

He made a massive contribution yesterday and looked up for the game.

Great stuff Wayne.

Historically we moaned about his courage in the box.

After the last few weeks, we are going to have to stop moaning.

He was very good indeed.

Shame his distribution was poor usually one of his strongest points.

Perhaps in training he's been prioritising shot stopping and dominating his box rather than distribution. Several things were pleasantly surprising yesterday. I particularly liked the flare up with Luka as Wayne's always struck me as a slightly passionless player and I'd have expected him to be scared of Luka.

Between the sticks a fine display but his distribution especially in the second half when we were under pressure was shocking.

I missed this, any idea what point of the game or what for?

I remember seeing Townsend have a bit of a pop after their first goal from the corner. Rather unfairly I must say, the header and subsequent boot into the roof from Murray were both completely out of Wayne's reach.

Only thing I can think of is because Murray kicked it in from virtually the goal line that Townsend in the heat of the moment must have thought a Keeper should be getting to that first - but probably one of those where a short winger has no idea what it's like to actually play Goalkeeper.

Brilliant save near the end, match wining as much as the goals. He may never be a favourite but he is better than many think.

Don’t think we had a player on the pitch who didn’t give the ball away in the second half and the way Sakho let himself be bullied for their first goal was much more alarming than anything WH did.
