Hr makes the odd mistake and the position he plays in means they usually get punished. But he still brings a confidence to the defence and brings out the best in thd rest of them. Tries to play the ball out of defence and usually finds a team mate.doing this there is bound to be the odd mistake, but Would you rather he just hoofed it and give possession straight back. We played against the front three that have been scoring goals for fun this season, and how many chances did we give them?

This.

Sakho can try to be too clever sometimes but when he is in our back four we look so much better than any other combination. Since coming back into the team we have looked far more assured and the team are growing in confidence. When playing against one of the best sides in Europe any slight mistake will be punished.

You could argue Zaha's lack of tracking back with Alexander-Arnold was to blame which added more pressure to our backline and dragged the players out of position...

Wow, that's all you care about. A ref blatantly cheats but I typed the wrong name. Priorities.

And you are barking up the WRONG tree if you believe that Swarbrick "Blatantly cheated".This is a scurrulous accusation casting aspersions as to his honesty and integrity and I wholeheartdly condemn this view.
Wrong name - wrong on both scores.

He thinks he is a ball-playing central defender but he hasn't got that ability.

I recall mentioning on HOL when we signed him that he didn't look too comfortable in possession.

Nail on the head. Wants to be to be, just isn’t.

Always been a bit of a maverick but what do people want, still far better than any other central defender, a struggling team like ours could attract. Who shall we replace him with Ramos, umtiti, pique

The real problem yesterday was not the defence but the attack giving the ball away and not Benteke who was winning the ball but sadly a not completely fit wilf who was being forced out so often. RLC coming on for Cabaye didn't help either (Riedewald instead?). Sadly a bad day at the office all round and not just for the players.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Not that bad, all the other bottom teams lost.

I think that some of the immunity from criticism that Sakho seems to have been privilege to comes from the fact that at the end of last season there was, what seemed like, a unanimous cry for us to sign him whatever the cost.

Consequently, it then becomes that bit harder to come to terms with, and admit to, the fact that he isn't quite the superlative defender that we liked to think he was.

He has got faults, but he will help us over line come the end of the season. We need him and Tompkins back in the starting line up and along with the 2 regular full backs and that will be enough.

He failed to give a yellow card for a blatant mandatory yellow card offence which he clearly noticed because he gave the free kick. He even had his hand in his pocket FFS. How can that be anything but bent?

Mane handled the ball in order to break up our attack and then pretended to the ref that he thought he'd been given a foul. So it's simulation as well.

One of the most obviously biased decisions I've seen this season.

So come on smarty pants, explain why he flatly refused to enforce the laws. He knows them. He didn't make a mistake with the first booking. He wasn't unsighted. He knew who did it. He knew it stopped a very promising attack. He has no wiggle room as to the punishment, yet he refused to do his job.
Is this normal? Are they allowed to make up their own rules? Can he choose his punishments? Can he decide which rules he wants to interpret? Can he take the colour of shirt into consideration?
Dont tell me, they all equal out over the course of a season yeah?
Bent referee. Not the first. Definitely not the last.

Love watching Sakho. Plays on the edge and it’s exciting.
Much prefer his style than some great oaf lumping it into the stands.
