He's not travelling and risking himself by playing with the Ivory Coast, and will almost certainly be fit for Liverpool. Seems fine to me.

There is one person missing from this flak and that is the ref. Why? He allowed/encouraged it to continue as did their manager and Roy could have put pressure on the fourth official (why are they there?). In all seriousness Roy as others have said is keeping us up (along with Wilf) and will continue to do so after the Liverpool match where a point would be great but Wilf for the remainder of the season? well an aviary of birds in a cage versus two in a bush.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Let's all hope that he's definitely fit for the pool match. It will f**k us right up if the situation changes in the coming day's, it's got to work out for us hopefully.

Zaha is now on physioroom with a knock, back on 31 March, i.e. for the bin dippers.

It's ridiculous that a manager should have, or be expected, to consider taking off a player for fear of the other lot fouling and injuring him. If he wants to use Zaha he should be allowed to use Zaha FFS. It's an issue only because a) Huddersfield are a lot of filthy thugs and b) referees are incompetent.

It should be perfectly obvious that in some situations, including six-pointers, that one team has a clear interest in putting an opposing player out of action. In those cases the referee should be stamping on any attempt to do so and making it clear from the kick-off that attempting to deprive the other team of their best players will result in a red card.

Pretty sure he would have been checked out by the Palace medical staff before he travelled to France. There are conflicting reports with the Croydon Advertiser saying he will be fit to face Liverpool while the Evening standard saying the injury may be a bit more serious. My gut feeling is that he may not be fit for the Liverpool game but should be ok for the rest of the run in.

And isn't it funny how Swansea got a straight red card against this lot for somewhat less than a sending-off offence after about ten minutes yet they seem to be allowed to fight, kick and foul their way to PL safety with impunity.

Where does it say that in here? It isn't as upbeat as the Croydon Advertiser but it doesn't say anything about it being particularly serious. He DID suffer a knock but I anticipate he will be back for Liverpool and, if he isn't, he will be back soon after.

He may have been brought back too soon and therefore is more likely to get injured agsin.
He didn't look properly fit to me.
His treatment against Huddersfield was no worse than he normally gets to be honest.

How are you meant to look when fit.?
He was on the pitch for 89 minutes.
Selected MOTM on BBC.
Maybe it was his new hair style that decieved you.?

I did hear that Palace were going to target Huddersfield's star player, but then they couldn't find one.

My `pant wetting' about his potential injury boils down to the fact the most soothing story comes from that Pulitzer-winning bastion of journalism, the Croydon Advertiser.

If, heaven forfend, we discount that yarn that has no stated sources at all, all we know is he's said he's not fit to play for the Ivory Coast and he came off with a ``throbbing'' knee v Hudders.

Could be a Giggs-ism, could be real.

People are placing a lot of store on the Adder.

Or on the remarks Hodgson made after the Huddersfield game.
