There is enough stuff, just blatantly made up by posters here. In your role of mod, I would expect a more responsible post,

My role as a mod is to ensure that the forum's rules are kept and has nothing to do with personal opinions that I may post as a forum member but that is often overlooked by people desperate to win an argument by any means

If the reports are to be believed he cast a good, honest pro like Ward out of the squad and then put him in the team and played him out of position.

He made remarks last week about moving players from the squad because they were creating a bad atmosphere. believe that of one or two but not Ward.

Respect is something you have to earn with new colleagues manager or not. Really showing himself up squealing that players stabbed him in the back when he’d apparently shown some of them such little respect himself.

The rumour at the time was that Delaney was the chief agitator

Blimey, he is not exactly doing himself any favours is he. Any club thinking of taking a punt on him , would be completely turned off by his comments and attitude.

If he does get another posting the pressure will be well and truly cranked up. Someone needs to tell him to button it...

I’m assuming his recent attempts at publicity and exposure is to put himself out there for a new job.
If I were him I would be very happy with the massive settlement he got from us and lie low. Stirring up spilt milk is not going to help his cause. Per day he must have been the highest remunerated person in football for his time with the Palace.
The expression the club is always bigger than the individual is so true. Anyone who was at the Man U game would understand why we are Palace and Proud. What a fantastic night to show why we are the best fans in the premier. de Boer must realise we have long left him behind unlike him us. Palace is not an easy club to break away from.
We are special.

Imagine if that rumour is true.

You are a former manager of a top, four times title winning, European club. You are appointed manager of one of the top football sides in the world, (yes, that's us folks) after researching the club to get the position and you allow an almost semi-retired squad player to kick you out of a job.

How does that work?

I sincerely wish him well in his future. I just think he has a very unfortunate manner and believe maybe that has had a lot to do with his current employment status. That and no points, no goals.

P.S. I love Damo, he has served this club with distinction.

Really you should not malign Delaney in this manner.

The press and the players knew it was doomed a couple of weeks after the bollox spun in his interview at the training ground. If he stuck to his word there wouldn't have been any unrest in the summer, no moronic team formations of players played here, there and everywhere and possibly some precious points you can't afford to chuck away when you have top 6 sides coming up and he may have built on that and actually succeeded.

I have issues with Delaney since his decline but Frank brought this all on himself. He thinks he's clever but he isn't.

The truth is that it was a mainly non football related decision to get rid. He turned out to be a bit of a T*** and is showing himself up as one in the media now. He wasn’t wanted here and it was all nipped in the bud quickly and was the right thing to do. We’ve got a manager now who has a wealth of experience and has come in and worked wonders and is a few good results away from producing a miracle. Let’s move on and concentrate on supporting the lads in the most important part of the season.
Very bad timing from De Bore. I can see why he’d want to unsteady the ship at this time. Would make him look a little less s*** if we went down.

Not sure you can say that. If he was the biggest cvnt on the planet but mid table he'd have been alright.

The whole thing was disjointed the moment the interviews with Parish and the club video interviewer were finished. It didn't help with Parish being on holiday and not tapping him on the shoulder and asking, 'Hey, what happened to gradual changes? Why are you doing things we can't do get?' But I suppose there's always the phone and Skype if it wasn't for the fact Frank would've thought, 'yeah whatever, what do you know' without a physical presence.

He played Luka (our best defensive midfielder) as a 3rd centre back all summer and then dropped him from his starting 11 all together for his 4 league games in charge and went with Puncheon instead!

Seriously gotta question the guy's sanity on that one!

Bubbs Palace minute had the culprit as Puncheon. Bearing in mind how poor Puncheon has been, I can well believe he was involved.
