I've just had a difficult conversation with my Palace mad 21 year old who's been looking forward (like me) to driving to Huddersfield tomorrow, I said I'd take him for a birthday treat. I've decided to cancel because the forecast looks so rubbish. Am I being pathetic?

It really won't be that heavy. It's a special moment in your lives you're passing up. you should un-cancel.

accuweather is superb. It's not forecasting that much snow up there. travel will be fine, match will be fine.

What’s wrong with you man.Get in that car tomorrow and take him or later on in life he’ll think that’s normal behaviour and turn into you seriously though if that was me at 21 I’d resent you for at least 15 years

Will the game go ahead at all with snow threatened and freezing temperatures suggested together with very high winds as the 'beast from the East' returns???

Just got to go...massive game. I'm sure the drive will be ok. You know what this country is like for over hyping the weather. Probably be a little flurry here and there and that will be it.

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Yep pathetic. Your boy should take his ticket, get a train from kings cross and never go with you again as you are so pathetic.

I don't actually think it'll be that bad on the roads tomorrow as the snow isn't forecast to start until after sunrise, meaning most of it will be kept clear by traffic for the journey up. The trouble will be if there's a breakdown or accident on top of the snow that's due.

Similar situation for us tomorrow
40 degrees c
Pre season matches cancelled due to intense HEAT
Cannot take my 9yo grandson out for his private coaching clinic with his favourite Grandad
What do I do,
do I cancel my 1 hour of coaching,or do we give up!
No, we carry on and wait for Grandad to drop

Where is the Joker shown, I haven't used it ?
