It's tempting not to play Wilf against Huddersfield, or at least play him in the 2nd half. Would rather not risk getting him injured again, or at least minimise that. I think we can give them a good game in the 1st half without him, then bring him on against their tiring legs. It'll be harder for them to take him out, and they'll be forced back.

Plus, he is still recovering from a serious injury, limiting him to 45 wouldn't hurt anyway.

I'm hoping for 9 points by the end of April which I think is fairly doable.

Look at Huddersfield as one of our bogeyteams, would be happy with a draw. Just wonder who get relegated to the bench now that Zaha (Tekkers hopefully), Sakho, Loftus-Cheek and Cabaye is back?
Don't think Roy H. let them in easily after the heroics of our last three games. And again that clown-ref Taylor cheated us....

Yes. 36 points by the time we play Stoke and West Brom. I agree that is relatively achievable. Especially as we have a few of the mid-table clubs coming up.

I still think 36-37 points will be enough. I also expect Huddersfield or Brighton to get reeled in yet. Although this looks like the first season that I can recall that all of the promoted teams might stay up. Bodes well for us next year if we can stay up too.

These last 8 games will be where we will take our points that is needed.Dont expect 3 against Liverpool but should have good hope for Huddersfield game and we got to be on the front foot all the time.
So next match is always the most important and a win would take us on our way up the table.

As a matter of fact twice this season, and we won 1-0 in League Cup (Sako). But in League 1 since 1995 we have 7 draws, 5 losses and 1 win. And they beat us 7-1 in August 1999.
So, we'll be happy with 1 p and no new injuries...

Very little chance Brighton will be reeled in. They are probably only 2 points away from safety.

I was thinking the same thing Fairweather.... I concur.... it’s a worry that our prized asset is a target ( yes that’s football) but geez it will knock our confidence if he gets injured again... praying each week

I've said all along that we will stay up,7 winnable games to play with injuries clearing up.

Wilf, Loftus Cheek both fit and even Wickham could be back soon.

We will get the 9 or 10 we need to stay up.
