He sat there looking entitled and cussing his players at 2-0 down. The man is vile. Nothing special about him or Man U. This morning I feel very very proud of the club. What a effort against hundreds and hundreds of millions of pounds worth of players. I wouldn’t swap one of ours for there’s. The back four were putting everything on the line, Tomkins was class, PVA was like a jack rabbit. Kelly was Kelly, solid. AWB was like mr soft with his long legs making there wingers look silly. The midfield were disaplined and solid. Shlup was superb, he was a great outlet, been missed. Townsend as usual was tireless. The two boys up front worked hard but clearly sorloth is the future. Roy is doing a super job, we’ve always been in games and he’s got everyone playing hard. I’ve got no worries we about staying up with our run in compared to stoke and Southampton. Lastly mr parish is getting a lot of stick, might be worth thinking about him as our saviour as he bailed the club out. Made a plan, got us in the prem and made the right appointment every time in that moment to keep us in the league. The recruitment has been good over all and he’s put lots money in. Not too mention the ground upgrade. But we could always get like West Ham or get in a foreign lot from the Middle East and end up like all the failed ex prem clubs who sold there souls. If we go down I’ll thank a 70 year old for a monster effort and the chairman for a lot of memories in the prem. we won’t tho as we have a good club from top to bottom. A chairman that cares, passionate manager and players and the very best fans in the world.

Only to add that WetSpam have a really tough last 6 games and I don’t think they have the spirit and cohesiveness that Palace have on and off the pitch, so this could work in our favour too?

Always compliments the team and the fans.

Best game I've seen Benteke play in for a long long time, showed passion, great workrate and a quality assist, if he can do that every game we should be fine. Not forgetting his defensive work, heading the ball away at corners and that goalline clearance. Thought he should have kept the ball in play at the end but possibly fatigue played it's part. The whole team worked like trojans and understandably wilted at the end.Have to say playing a 2 man midfield puts a real strain on those in that 'Engine room' and perhaps Hodgson will revert to a '3' at Chelsea.

At 2-0 up we were 13th, 3-2 down we are 18th. Unbelievable! There were lots of positives about tonight. Keep playing with that passion and get a bit of luck, we will be ok (just!)

In the cold light of day that was a very positive performance: • We showed that we do carry an attacking threat with Schlupp even without Wilf The crucial difference between the teams was that we did not have the quality on the bench to freshen it up when they started to get the upper hand when they scored their first goal while they can bring on an England striker and a World Cup winner. It was a cracking game played in a great atmosphere – it must have been great viewing for a neutral.

From CPJ “Seriously???? For all the good SP has done for the club, the recruitment has been a absolute joke.” Can you elaborate please cpj as I’m not aware of any player at the club that is a joke and could argue for all there merits at present. Building a team of players with a point to prove with prem experience is hard to get right but on the balace of things it’s been done well. With the expectations of Mutch who are you referring to? Our injury crisis is bad! Un presidented but the squad has had the depth to field players with prem experience. Balancing that team is the trouble without wilf but Roy Did it last night with shlup pva linking well and Townsend and AWB on the other side. Roy is building a team not of superstars or big prem names. Clubs that do that end up in the s***. I think Burnley are a great example of a team not w***y stars.

Yes there are 9 games left. But against some tough opponents. Unless we get our best players back soon, we will slip behind and be unable to recover and be relegated.

I think he will when he gets Wilf back, but in the absence of someone else for that role 4-4-2 seems a neccessity. But we should at least have some fresh legs on the bench now.
