Sorry to say I'm a conditioned glass half full man. I can't help it. Therefore, I'm throwing this out there...last Year the team with the worst possible run in who were in trouble beat Arsenal at home, the champions elect away and Liverpool away! We know who they were. All I'm saying is just enjoy the ride. I do feel someone else will implode. Could be West Ham. Could also be one of the promoted three. Either way, it's going to be a crazy few weeks.

Against smaller teams having two giants up front will not be attractive but it will likely cause problems.
Why don't any of the top 6 teams play 2 giant center forwards against smaller teams except for maybe 10 minutes at the end of a match if they're down and are desperately trying to scre?

He as at the Spurs game last weekend so you can probably guess what he thinks based on that performance!!! If we can defend like that for the rest f the season we should be okay. We won’t play teams with an attacking threat quite like Spurs have every week.

Well, Burnley have done a pretty good job by playing two, big burly strikers up top. Plus it helps in defending set pieces. Comparing Palace to a top six side's approach is plain daft. If we had creative players like Sanchez, Silva, Hazard, Sane, Salah, etc., then we could carve teams open, but we don't. My point was with two very big strikers (in theory) we should at least cause some chaos from crosses and set-pieces. I would rather see us play great football and carve chances, but failing that let's go Dresden style

Edited by mattteo (04 Mar 2018 4.58pm) I was thinking of Vokes and Barnes, but from checking it seems Hendrick has indeed played behind the main man in a lot of games. I must admit I have only seen bits of Burnley aside from against us. I still think Bentenke and Sorloth could in theory cause problems if we have more of the ball, but only time will tell.

Flatten their cities with Lancaster Bombers? Metaphorically speaking, yes, that's the plan. Alternatively, maybe Luka and Tomkins could just pick Bentenke up and use him as a battering ram.
