Thanks for the link GPW. Gives us a bit more insight into how the shareholders operate. It's difficult to see exactly what went on as some of the share dealings wouldn't appear in the accounts. I think that there was a bit more to it than "the 4 members of CPFC2010 selling a load of shares and trousering the profit" as the other way of buying into a company is for it to increase it's share capital and for the new shareholders to subscribe for the new shares with that money going into the company. If you look at the filing history of CPFC2010 Ltd you will see that in December 2015 there were a further £10m of shares issued. The matter is further complicated by the web of interconnected companies that have been formed in the last couple of years as CPFC 2010 Ltd is now owned by Palace Midco Ltd which in turn is owned by Palace Holdco UK Ltd

Here is the latest accounts I can find, year ending 2016. On the first page you will see who the 3 Directors are. Harris, Blitzer and Parish. Yes 3 equal share holders with Parish in charge day to day.

According to last document I can find all shares in cpfc 2010 ltd were held by Palace midco uk ltd. Shares in this company are owned by Palace Holdco Ltd. In December 2016 Parish Browett Long and Hosking had shares along with other Holding companies. All Documents are on Companies House website look at Filings Confirmation Statement

I don't see the ownership structure described in the link I sent. However, it seems known that Browett, Long and the other fella whose name escapes me sold up in return for ownership of subordinate shares and less influence. And fair enough. It's less clear what Parish did, financially at least, but i believe at the time he was reported to be an equal class of shareholder to Blitzer and Harris (in the senior shareholding entity). It seemed (and seems) like Parish would have operational control but with their holding, they must want significant input on major financial decisions (and who wouldn't?) We can only guess how that plays out in practice. But what he said about the Benteke transfer was very revealing and should make the Parish haters pause. Parish also said they dipped in to there pockets last Jan although I'd imagine that got repaid to them.. hence why this summer not much was spent.
