I thought he did very well, some have questioned his positioning, is his normal position a full back, i know nothing about him, if his normal role is not a full back, then his performance today was terrific, very pacy

Very close offside and on top of that Hennessey had been very active up until that point in the first half too. Lucky not to concede. It wasn't a well measured post, as he said we were keeping Tottenham away comfortably. The 0-0 always seemed on the edge. If you felt comfort, you watched a different game.

About Wan Bisakka- he is a strong figure, you can't really say he's a PL player after this match. He only had to sit back. Didn't help on counter attacks. A side defender must go up too, but it's understandable if he wanted to play it safe for his debut. But is he entitled to fight for a starter position in the PL? Has anyone actually commenting here seen him play competitive football in other matches? Palace's youth isn't even playing in the PL youth competition.

I liked Fosu Mensah in the center back position though. I think that heading mistake 2 weeks ago was just a one time thing

But OFFSIDE.
Wan Bissake plays for the u23's in the Professional Development League, which they are leading by 9 points (I believe they won it last year). He is not playing in PL Youth competition as the Club does not have Category 1 Academy status, hardly his fault!
Did I feel comfort? No hardly ever do watching Palace but fully understood what poster was saying, the longer the game went on the more confident I became. Perhaps this doesnt translate when not watching it live with biased commenteries.

The way he runs reminds me of Ian wright. This guy could go all the way. He is clearly very fast.
If it were me I’d play him up front and give him a few games.
He’s got good ball control too.
Football is so stereo typed thes days. Take a risk and play him up front.

Settled in and never looked out of place so credit to the young lad.

Maybe the way we set up defensively in a compact shape with players behind the ball helped him.

If I leave you alone, doesn't that make you lonely as well?

I thought he did well against a top side who had a crazy amount of possession, when you consider the amount of defending he had to do compared to the spurs right back, he couldn’t shy away. I look forward to seeing him against a poorer team, he could be threat with his pace.

I think the lad did well all things considered- in fact, I’d go as far to say he looked more comfortable from the off than TFM did on his debut for us. Far from the finished article but his pure pace got him out of a few situations.

Unfortunately, there seem to be a few that seem to think that what you see on the tv is everything to be seen. That’s far from the case & what struck me was his work rate and positioning looked more like he’d actually played a few first team games already.

Fingers crossed, we’ve found one for the future.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

I recall hearing last year that Wan-Bissaka has real tenacity and Zaha doesn't like playing against him in training !

I'd give him a 7/10 for that performance, pacy and reasonably strong for a youngster and positioning was ok. Disagree about him playing as a forward though. I thought he looked a little nervous and out of his depth when he went over the half way line and his one attempt at a cross wasn't great, (finished half way up the Holmesdale stand, although he did get a rousing round of applause for the effort). Overall though as a debut I thought he played well.
