We cant take the money that SKY/BT give us and then on the flipside complain. If we do what you are saying then we should just give back a big proportion of the tv money and then see how our team does! I don't like it as much as you. Don't know when our next 3pm game is but we knew with this game it would move to Sunday if it was a replay.

I would go even further and say that I much preferred football without Sky and BT Sports. The money seems to be benefitting fat cat agents, has been managers, an inept FA, a corrupt UEFA and FIFA and so called 'star' players at Premier League clubs. We got a new gate and a big wage bill but not much else. Transfer fees are a disgrace - so are some ticket prices. Why are supporters being mugged off so easily? The Sky money is doing sweet FA for us. Probably harming football in the long-term.

Is it still on tv? Yep, and still on Sky. To those that are moaning about this being done late and it's not fair, this was announced at the same time as the game being scheduled for the Monday. i.e in December! If Spurs, or ourselves, had a 5th round replay it got moved to the Sunday midday.

Correct stuk Sky tv had to choose and announce their February game choices on 22nd December before the FA Cup had even started (for Prem teams) The package they pay a billion quid for (or whatever it is) includes Monday night Prem games, so they had to choose something. They chose a London derby match, which would have meant the minimum disruption for those fans if had had to move due to a round 5 replay, few would have booked hotels or travel being a short hop across London for the away fans etc It is unfortunate that the change is such short notice, however it is the Premier League which sold Sky tv the package to include that monday night Prem slot. A change at short notice is far from ideal, however a game moving to a weekend day is better than when games switch to weekdays (working day/school night)

If anyone is to blame it is BT, as there is no reason why the replay couldn't have been on the Wednesday or Thursday of this week, other than the fact that it would clash with either CL or EL games, which BT also have the rights to.

Cannot travel on 25th (actually I could but wouldn't pay the sky high train fares after spending ££s on the original train tickets). The club were happy to refund my match ticket.

It used to be that way for replays, but didn’t it change because the Police did not have time to resource the games.?

It wouldn't surprise me if that was one of the excuses dished out, along with the TV companies wanting as much notice as possible for additions to their schedule. Spurs v Rochdale at Wembley shouldn't even need police. It's probably the best prepared ground in terms of stewards.

I think you'll find it's nothing to do with BT but with UEFA who do not allow any top flight games on CL or EL nights !

It's not a top flight game, it's a cup game featuring Rochdale, and that request by UEFA has already been ignored before. By Arsenal, if I recall, and for a rearranged premier league game to boot.
