Supported? I rarely read anything positive or supportive from your hands.
No, lets all slag everything off, talk the team down and forget where we came from and that we still are ABOVE the drop zone.Of ourse everone can see the upcoming fixtures and most of us will be concerned but the negativity here is mind bogging. The sense of entitlement and people keeping repeating their point over and over and over and over again is plainly ridiculous.

"If not go support another club" - Is this the best advice you can give to someone who has supported the club since the 60s ????

Let's all be realistic and not be positive for the sake of being positive.Only Tottenham,Man Utd and Chelsea in the next 3 games.

At 3-0 down what does it matter when he last played. A player, even unfit, should be able to take 5 minutes. Hell, even get Wan Bissaka on. He might not be good enough but we were 3-0 down anyway

The point I was making is that we had on our bench, a signing from the 'Window' who hadn't played for 2 months thereby asking questions about why on earth we signed this player at a time that we need acquisitions who were match-fit and had a darned good chance of making an impact. One of the key areas was our midfield 'Engine room' and the best we could do was to bring in a Loan player who hadn't played since November/December. Not forgetting Jach who couldn't even make the bench !!!!

Yes I have supported our team in all weathers since the 60s and spent a lot of money in doing so.

I certainly know "Where we came from" but then was then and now is now.
As a supporter I recognise our current plight and feel minded to express my opinion.

You should be asking all this of your ITK 'someone' and telling us.

Plural not singular thank you.
With respect I am not gallivanting down that ITK path on here. Will not respond to any further comments down this line.

Meh

We are three points clear of the drop zone with a very kind run in, with Zaha Back in the frame.

We have a better chance than everyone is drossing about on here even with so many players out. We’ve been coping with key players out and constant injuries all season, and our last 17 games have hardly been terrible, have they?

Won't be a "Kind run in" if we suffer significant and embarassing defeats before then which drop us into the 'Bottom 3'.The pyschological damage could be huge.

At the end of the day we are hardly going to get many points against the likes of Tottenham,Chelsea,Man Utd and Liverpool and more than likely none at all.All we can hope for is that the other rivals suffer badly points wise during this period. We are relying on the other teams to slip-up.

Tough games coming up but then some very winnable games, keep the faith! And by then some of the injured will have recovered - I think we'll be ok

Willo you are without doubt the "Most Annoying" poster ever to have contributed to HOL. Why put random words and "Expressions" in quotations with capitalised first letters? It seems just another ploy to draw attention to yourself. Though I have been finding your contributions extremely annoying for a very long time, I have "Resisted" the temptation to feed your desire for the oxygen of notoriety. I think that I have never "Risen to the bait" as at least you do not insult other posters directly just their enjoyment of the forum. Coming on here feeling down after a defeat yet another thread has been hijacked by your desperate need to stand out by "Instilling a sense of further doom and gloom" on an already bad day. You did suggest at the end of last year that you were likely to stop posting. If only you could keep to your "New Years resolutions."

Anyway back on topic, yes we are in trouble but so are 7 or 8 other teams. We have been in trouble before and found a way out. Hopefully, we can regroup before the Spurs game and get one or two back to fitness. I thought the Sorloth looked useful today, put a shift in and nearly scored. I still think that there will prove to be 3 teams worse than us this season.

Not at all.

If with this was the Championship and we were looking at demotion to League 1 then yes, i'd be bloody worried, but we're not.
In the grand scheme of things we're still an average sized club. Going back to the second tier, which we won't this season imo, is hardly the end of the world.

Chill.

Clearly they CAN create chances, how else would we know how wasteful Benteke is?!

Rather than wet your pants now, let’s write off the next 4 games and plan to get the points we need to survive when we play our relegation rivals in April and May. If we do get relegated it will be down to our failure to beat relegation rivals.
