Regardless of the 40m quote, i expected us to sign a goalkeeper, and cover for the wings! Rather than a striker from Denmark who failed in the Dutch league, a loan midfielder for 3 months, and a defender for 1.5m from the Polish league. Something about which i know, and that is any half decent Polish footballers go to Germany to play, such is the extensive links and scouting from them in the country. You expected to much. We got a keeper joins next season(not ideal) got a striker box to box player and C/B both internationals. There is no point signing cover for the wings if that cover is no better then we have and not many proven quality players leave their clubs in January of course we could have got a Polish winger but he would have been crap or the Germans would have got him. No way can you put the blame on SP for our bad luck with injuries or expect a club of our size to spend 60/100m on players. SP/CPFC made the mistake of having only one striker and two keepers the rest is bad luck every other club our size would be in the same boat.

Er yes monumental. Yeah and what could happen to us if we go down? If Parish wants to interact with us like he does and be the media darling then yes he should come out and say something. How many of the chairman of the clubs you mentioned have a owner who is a fan and desperately wants to have a burger with the fans at games. I believe Steve is one of us so I actually expect more. Sorry but you are just a Parish apologist. He, I am saying he because he wants to be the front man deserves criticism for jeopardising us. Collectively the last 4 windows have been ridiculous and the knock on affect is what we are experiencing now. Its not just me that wanted more. The guy Roy also felt the same and this was BEFORE the last collection of injuries. How you can justify Steve & co's negligence is beyond me. I do think Parish is in denial and is not capable of taking the blame for his shambolic performance as CEO or even explaining his performance over the past few year in the transfer market. It will be the normal its a difficult window and we didn't quite get them over the line in time and that despite him knowing the situation we are in with strikers and keepers since the start of the season, I could understand if we were mid table and looking secure, But that's not the case. I think he owe's it to the supporters that put there money and efforts into supporting the club week in week out to explain why the hell we always end up like this and by the grace of god (and I don't mean Parish) we have avoided relegation each season, We have just not kicked on at all and after 5 years we should of done, We have so many players that are sitting back comfortably taking the money and relaxing who in hell gave Mutch a 5 year contract and signed Lee whilst he still had a broken leg, real schoolboy errors IMO Even with the bandwagon to celebrate the dawn of a new era with our newly designed stadium, It seems to be that he had not consulted with the council as they have raised grave concerns with the concept, It gets better I just find it so frustrating

I believe any prem side's fans should be entitled to believe their team will have 3 keepers and adequate cover in key positions. Especially when the chairman has led them to believe that January we would remedy the mistakes made in the past window. We've known Mandanda was off for a year now, surely. And still they tried to take the piss out of Getafe late on in the window, instead of paying a a reasonable buy out clause and getting him into the squad. Parish has been shown to be incompetent, verging on negligent in two successive windows. He loves to bask in it when times are good, but then scurries off when they're hard. I think that's a fair point of discussion of a Fans internet site. We’ve got the 20th most expensive squad in world football, we’ve suffered a biblical plague of injuries and we’re still probably going to stay up. This is already our longest spell in the top division and we’re in the process of sorting the ground out. Stop f*cking whining. Edited by Beastie (07 Feb 2018 11.27am)

Sorry Medway but we have kicked on from where he took over kicking on in this league means spending 100s of millions we do not have that, every season at least ten clubs aim for safety we are one of them had we been lucky with injuries i am sure we would be mid table and in the F.A.Cup. SP made a mistake with FDB one Striker and two keepers no need to explain he owes us nothing we are lucky to have an open honest straight talking supporter in charge.

However we over payed for two left backs because of our poor recruitment! No cover for Pape.. you see theres a theme here. We bought ourselves out of trouble, Steves words. Enjoy your walk.

He always seems to be everywhere when times are good. After four months and at least two appearances on both Pods, where he painted himself as being like Joan of Arc, persecuted on Twitter and the like, and reitterated the amazing work being done by Dougie behind the scenes, and how they had mistakes and were going to get them right etc, we were left with another shambles of window. He's gambled again on squad fitness, and almost immediately we've been punished, now having one fit keeper, and one first team winger fit and available for selection. We were told that Roy had 40m to spend in January. We've since got some swede in on a 3 month loan (prob no more than 750k fee), a Polish defender for around 1.5m up front and striker from the Danish league for 8m up front. A quarter of what was talked about, and glaring holes left in the squad as a a result. I've noted he's kept an uncharacteristaclly low profile on Twitter. Is he going to show up for another soft soaping interview on a podcast at any point? Bit out of order to not explain himself, given how happy he is to take credit and show up when the good times are rolling.

I am sure the majority will agree that on the whole SP has done a brilliant job, I for one say thanks. I agree some things have been far from the mark but nobody is perfect and he had to learn (and still is) how to administer a football club. We have little idea what goes on in the background as we only hear rumours of this and that. I also think nobody could imagine the injury list we have could ever occur, but it has and now we all have to blame somebody!! I am sure and hopeful the boys are going to knuckle done and achieve the 40 points we need. Here's hoping and good luck guys.

Absolutely right and Parish will be the first to admit that he has made mistakes but look at the overall picture.
