I wouldn't have a problem with that not sure about the 1mm protestants? I wish we had never got involved over there but we did. I think most Irish people would welcome a united Ireland but only with the consent of the north. Nobody wants another bloody civil war.

In my understanding the Scots entered Ulster in large numbers around the 1600s onwards. Their ancestors, the original tribe the Scoti, conversely left the same region to attack Caledonia around the 8th century, killing and driving the native Picts out, and taking control. Caledonia for the Picti, i say.

Lol, well if Gerry Adams says he'll be good for Britain, who are we to argue? Maybe we should canvass the opinion of the ISIS leadership too, maybe then fly in some Columbian FARC rebels to troubleshoot our current political situation... Couldntt do a worse job than the con party, con by name, con by nature!

They wanted one law and one religion across all of the kingdoms. James encouraged the migration of the Scots to Ireland to achieve this. Charles caused a civil war over standardising religion (ironically with the Scots) which morphed into a fight for Parliamentary rights. But blame it all on the the English sounds a lot better.

To get to and remain as PM, Corbyn would have to thoroughly purge the Labour Party to get rid of anyone with any common sense. Otherwise, he wouldn't last five minutes in office. It could make current Tory squabbles look like a chimpanzee bun fight. Given the seemingly poor calibre of current UK politicians we need a better and cheaper way of running the country with fewer individuals involved. I am continually frustrated by their antics and tired of wasting my money on giving jobs to these idiots.

It was clear that Ulster wanted to stay in the EU in the referendum, so let them. A better result for Ulster and the racists get an easier Brexit, after all Brexit is Brexit.

How very decent of you to "give" one million British people to a foreign country. Maybe you should ask them first? The most recent polls suggest the people there (of both political and religious persuasion) actually want a more devolved society- not a United Ireland. And by the way, without those people, Britain would've struggled in more than just the odd world war.
