A point away at a form team means two points they didn't get at our expense.

They also parked the bus for long periods in the second half at home.

Pleased with the point, underwhelmed with the performance overall though.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

I simply cannot see Everton under Allardyce being relegated. So they are not "In the mix" as far as I am concerned.

Why, their last 7 results in the PL have been DDLLLLD, 3 points in 21? Some may say they have a run of easier fixtures to come however those fixtures are against teams like us trying to stay in the PL so I don't think it will be that easy for them. Sam appears to have lost his mojo at the moment.

They have got 6 pts from their last 7 PL games.
Allaryce's record at Everton has been 13 pts from 10 PL games.
Analaysing all the factors, I really cannot see Everton being relegated.

After shelling out 50 millions for Sigurrdson from Swansea, they could well end up below the swans !

Apologies 1 match was an fa cup loss so 3 from 18 in the league but 7 without a win and that is current form not how many points he has accumulated since the start of the season. The analysis I have come up with is that the last 7 games they have played they haven't won.

I am not deluded that we are better than other relegation candidates.

Above all cannot afford any more injuries.

We have to play out of our skins and be lucky just like the others.

I noticed also that Everton Watford only have a point or two advantage, so that's eleven teams in the mix.

Phew!

Since that start of the Watford game on 12 December we've gained 11 points on them. I'd be much more concerned if I were a Watford fan. However I think we'll both stay up.

Brighton, Huddersfield and Newcastle for the drop IMO.

13 games left to play, and 14 points left to reach 40 points overall.

We need 4 wins and 2 draws to reach 40 points, with Newcastle, Brighton & West Brom to play at home, and Everton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Watford and Stoke to play away from home.

It's not going to be easy, but you would expect us to get 14 points from those teams above.

I'd say a point last night was enough.

Newcastle will be signing Slimani and he has the ability to make a significant impact for them getting on the end of crosses.

In our last 13 games, we have achieved 21 points, which is 1.6 points per game. We need 1.07 points per game, in our remaining games this season, to hit 40 points.

It all hinges on Zaha and Benteke or a striker being available. If not then we're in trouble if there are many points to get or possibly any more than a draw to get.

(For the other thread if anybody thinks I'm rating Benteke on one thread and slating him on another. Benteke is just enough ATM. He's not great but he's definitely above survival standard with decent teammates. Not worth the cost but enough, if available.)

For whatever reason it hasn't worked out for him at Leicester but he still has the ability to cause problems for teams and we might find that out on Sunday !
