No thanks , lets hope we have someone lined up better than this though the silence coming out of Selhurst is not encouraging .

I'm waiting for half past eight on Wednesday when a Bentley turns up at Beckenham with someone inside coming for a medical followed by a washed up striker who will be hanging about in the shadows hoping for a contract until the end of the season

That sounds like a good use of Wednesday evenings, not!

a revolting if effective footballer and an even more revolting human being - don't accuse me of being politically incorrect please but he does remind me of some of the villains in Live and Let Die. No ta.

Wow, wow, wow, Pardew has made a £16m-£18m offer for Deeney? He can have him, surely he isn't worth that sort of money.

£16 mil is mad.

If he wasn't a footballer I reckon he'd be in a shop in the centre of Birmingham selling designer clothes and other stuff and down at Birmingham matches to fight interested fans whenever he could.

I like his celebrations after goals vs Villa. The one at The Holte End and the one at Vicarage Road, showing off his BCFC tattoo.

He always provides something for opposing fans which is good for true football fans. It made me laugh when he spoke on how soft the Arsenal players were.
