JJ’s squad number is 71 according to HOL’s player stats. How does that work, then?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

This I don't get. Few things are overrated more then experience. If he's good enough he's good enough regardless of what position we're in. It's not like he's 16 and we'll need to plan around his school times.

Sure...But in a world where a single defeat can mean relegation (or at the very least a few million quid loss), a young player needs to be markedly BETTER in training than an experienced hand. That's a big ask and why so many managers are so risk averse. It's one of the tragedies if the PL.

I'll have a fiver on it with you, squire. They are rated 7 in the world, did very well in qualifying, and have a top-tier goalscorer.

Dont have a bet with me. Go to a bookie if you're that sure. I have no problem with your assessments of the teams in Poland's group, but am saying do not underestimate any teams who get to the finals. And particularly those from Africa and South America.

I would not be surprised if Colombia advanced.

My other half's Polish and her cousin who's over there is a mad Arka Gdyna fan (Polish equivalent of Millwall), he used to get involved in the aggro with their rivals Lech Gdansk (local) and Wisla Cracov (non-local hatred), should have got into football coaching but chose a sensible career and went off the rails. Anyway seeing as Jach has played twice for Poland I thought I'd get she who must be obeyed to contact her cousin and I'd get some real grassroots lowdown on our first ever Polish player. And do you know what cousin Radek said when asked about the new boy? "Never heard of him." In Polish mind. What's Polish for c*** (actually it's cipka).

Probably says more about your cousin in law than our new player

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
