No. It appears that they were taking advantage of hired workers. I doubt they were hired to be escorts, although I wasn't invited to work there so haven't seen the spec.

Do you think it's acceptable for men who want to fck attractive women they meet at a workplace to grope / harass them without an explicit invitation from the woman to do so?

Rejecting these attitudes isn't feminism. It's simply decent human behaviour.

This is the problem with the far left.

They want to move the goalposts on what is decent and not decent to stamp 50/50 situations as 'not decent' and criminalise awkward social situations.

Let no one be in doubt....arseholes actually groping or repeatedly harassing women with no positive social cues...these guys have never been accepted. Laws exist to deal with these people.

But don't pretend on here that guys looking to fcuk attractive women who might misread a message are awful people.....no, they aren't. There is a dividing line in behaviours that most sensible people recognise....unless you're on the far left of course and stone deaf to social nuance.

Ok, to further investigate what you regard as acceptable.....you say that no one should get laid 'without an explicit invitation from the woman to do so'. Ok mate....define what you mean by 'explicit'....do you mean written permission? They have to shout out, 'fcuk me' before the act begins....or what.

Because in reality.....women are protected in society. I certainly protected a few in my time. Men with wandering hands don't go long in normal society before coming up short.

You're totally missing the point here. Do you think it is an acceptable way for some of the most powerful people in society to conduct themselves? Do you think this does anything other than fuel the so called 'myth' of the patriarchy?

Maybe 'feminists' wouldn't need to shout so loud if powerful men, y'know, didn't act like c*nts.

This is not about gender, it is about status.

You can't seem to decide which one you think it is.

I prefer to think of you as naivete rather than serious.

'Powerful men'....hell, powerful people get corrupted by power...it's as old as the hills. Feminists with influence today as just the same, lots of them are completely unethical....It's the same with any human being who gains power/money/influence....not all but a significant percent....That's because there is an industry of people willing to serve them.

This is human nature and not something that is changeable. Not without socially tyrannical repression....just as Peterson said. That's why meritocracy is much better as a form of weeding out the unsuitable for leadership. But a set percent of people with means will always abuse that privilege.

If a man is wealthy enough he has access to an industry built upon satisfying them....that's always been the case. That includes women very willing to serve them sexually. This is their choice. They are both as bad as each other. This idea that powerful men are going around groping ordinary women is so ridiculous...They don't need to......Most men aren't arseholes....and for those that are the law quite rightly protects women....but feminists are trying to tip the balance into unfair treatment.

Sure criticise the behaviour of arseholes.....I certainly do....but be suspect of those who would criminalise men who make a pass.....like that politician who touched a journalist's knee....the journalist who originally reported that story regretted the outcomes of it.

Just watched this very interesting. He is not the anti Christ and is very critical of men as well. I think if she is honest the interviewer would be embarrassed. She kept trying to put words in his mouth and misunderstand what he said.

It would have been a better interview if she had responded to his points rather than try and twist them into her own interpretation.

How exactly could she have fairly responded?

Third wave feminism requires everyone to sign up to the same unthinking hymn sheet or it seeks to demonise those that observe the faults within it.....its tenets don't stand up well to criticism

Men who espouse the feminist cause are henpecked, emasculated drips.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I see the Marxist and feminist thought police are out in force today criticising Neville's appointment as England women's boss.

Apparently he made a couple of 'women' jokes on twitter.....quick get the pitchfolks out!

I think he needs his head examining taking that job.....But I suppose he thinks that he has enough money to just stick two fingers up if it goes belly up.

Still, it's obvious that any man taking that job is on a hiding to nothing.

I appreciate that some of you are confused and, believe me, I sympathise.

I can't believe that the FA have given this job to Neville.

His social media comments and gender are a very long way down the list of reasons why he's laughably unqualified for the job.

I don't think we're too far apart here, although I don't think that stopping unwanted groping is a function of left vs right wing politics.

Explicit means unequivocal in the context of my post. Surely you're experienced enough to know many of the crystal clear ways a woman can indicate her attitude? Social nuances, as you say. I don't get why you assert that blindness to them is the preserve of people with what you call far left views.

Frothing politically partisan hyperbole volumes on HOL haven't lessened much since NickGusset's departure.
