The nature of winnable and tough fixtures means it'll probably be close for a while, but let's hope they crumble like the bottle job cvnts they are.

Heh! I like the look of their last ten fixtures, sounds good for a rendition of Ten Green Bottles when they come to play at our place. I hope Sako gets a hat-trick.

One week we're above them and our fans rejoice... bit silly really when we've spent half the season under them...

Half the season with our fans in melt down... predicting impending doom !

And yet one day above them and we're acting as if they're s***...

Some have no style when we're in trouble or when we're doing well....

Who cares about Brightons position.

At the risk of showing myself up, is the saying "form is temporary; class is always there."?

We are enjoying good form now, and hopefully will show class at season's end. COYP

In fairness, we should be above them as they have a significantly weaker first XI, but Hughton is giving them a fighting chance in view of their average squad.

If they can survive this season then maybe they might spend a few quid and improve next year. Given the amount we've spent and our time in the PL we should be looking for a top 10 finish, but given our start (as Roy keeps saying) survival is all that matters this season.

If we manage to spend wisely, Roy stays on and we keep hold of Zaha then next season I would hope to see us in a more comfortable position from which to laugh at Brighton.

It will be from a division above them.

Whilst I agree, I also remember that I thought that last season, and the season before, but we always seem to be capable of turning into total dog poo for no apparent reason

Brighton fans do seem to be in meltdown, they should be overjoyed to still be in with a very good chance of surviving. They are 3 points out of the relegation zone and averaging a point a match.

Looking at their fixtures, I can see them getting another 16 points which should give them more than enough to finish out of the bottom three.

Hope I'm wrong and they finish the season on 23 points.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Looking at the BHA run in, if they don’t get another 10 points on the board by the end of February then they are deep in the mire. I will be putting a pile of cash on them to be relegated if not.

Yeah in February they have several 6 pointers. March is horrendous for them, as are their final 2 in May. We play them in April.

This will be hilarious if they get relegated.

We could help it along in our last 2 games, if we are already safe and don't 'need' the points against Stoke and WBA
