Sako has always had the star quality that a player needs to change games. Pace, power, skills, very clean strike of the ball, and the confidence to use them abilities, it's just needed to be dragged out of him. Hodgson seems to have this flowing recently I'd say it's more down to him than the contract situation. Any club below the top half would sign him in seconds if we don't renew the contract. We have very nice variety with Sako, Wilf, Andros and Loftus-Cheek.. I think the way football is going that's our best attacking foursome for progression. But Benteke is generally the best at defending set pieces!

Hes a funny player. His first touch is actually pretty pour however his thinking is extremely one-minded, he just wants to go for goal! Love his direct approach which reminds me of Ian Wright.

Not his fault that the team was unfit under Pardew but on the balance of probability and the last two years evidence I'd say the answer is yes.

Worth signing up on this form. As a wild card he is great. Defenders don’t really know how to deal with his strength and power. And goalies s*** it when he fires a rocket at goal.

I'd say yes. TBH for a while I thought he was a waste of space, but now he's getting his fitness back he looks good. Big, direct and with a hammer of a shot - gives us another dimension!

He’s been given a golden chance of game time , not many have given that during his tenure. So pleased for the bloke ,yes injuries have held him back,! but he’s got a great desire and commitment to this club and has obvious ability. We’re staring to see what Wolves had but in the Prem.

He was excellent for us when he 1st signed scoring important goals against Villa & Chelski & then he had a bad injury. He did look unfit & overweight when he returned but so were alot of players under Pardew & you have to question his training methods which Townsend alluded to after he was sacked. I would give him a new contract but I would be worried if his good form will continue after he signed it or will get injured & fat again.Hopefully with Woy in charge this won't happen again & seems to florish working with him.

It occurred to me yesterday as he replaced Andros for the first time (that I recall / not including subs) that his presence will get the best out of Andros and possibly Wilf. He's certainly a good foil (spelling?) for Wilf and Benteke and will possibly allow us to rest Wilf for a game occasionally. Which is sometimes a necessity, for example, Cabaye has needed a rest. He just gives us a refreshing option. We aren't missing Andros... yet
