Maybe tempting fate but no club in 14th position after 22 Premier League games has been relegated. However, only one team in this position has had fewer points at this stage Attachment: pos14.PNG (16.47Kb)

I am delighted to report that after having read various posts on holmesdale.net, it would seem that as a result of Luka's strike at Southampton we have survived the drop; that our form is now so stellar that we can easily expect a top half finish at the very least. This is fantastic news. I can't tell you how relieved I am that for once we have absolutely nothing to worry about! Well done to the players, the management, coaching staff, the chairman and directors and not forgetting all the staff behind the scenes! I know it would be unusual but perhaps an open top bus parade could be organised to celebrate this magnificent achievement for, say, early February. What say you all? Yes! Fantastic news! No need to hurry in the transfer market now! Please take as much time as you want! Thankyou for your magnificently cunning plan Parish! Thankyou! Pop the champagne! Best Pardew dance wins a prize!

Our league position which is now immeasurably better than it has been all season. Yep the OP obviously doesn't think anyone should be happy about that. Palace or rather homesdale.net really does have some miserable gits. Any other team in the bottom half would want to be us right now, picking up points game after game, even a few currently above us. We're sorting out the mess we were in. And yet we have a tit trying to shame us all for being happy about this... life must be pretty joyful in his household. What a wally.
