You could well be right and that he will sign for a club deemed higher up the 'Totem Pole' than we are. The good thing is that it would seem that Palace are looking for another striker, and what ever the risks with Welbeck (injuries etc) every transfer is a risk that might not come off (eg Ayew) and on balance if we could land Welbeck it would in my opinion be a risk worth taking
