Imo either Bilic or De Boer will sink their ship.

It will be akin to rearranging deck chairs in the Titanic!

As a Scottish chap used to say to me :
"Between a rock and a hard place"

Regards Bilic, in his first season at W.Ham they finished 7th.
Last season they had to settle into their new home and finished 11th.
He was sacked this season with W.Ham in 18th place.
Not a good direction of travel.

I think Swansea are doomed whoever they appoint

Don't see 3 worse teams than them and the bottom at xmas stat is a major pointer

WBA were the first team to be bottom at Christmas in the PL and survive the drop.
There are three other teams in this bracket, but I cannot recall them !!!!
So it has been done.

If they appoint deBoer they're doomed as he has no clue about organizing a Premier League level defense. Bilic would be the better appointment for them but firing Clement when they did was not the smartest thing I ever saw.

Its nice Alan Curbishley still gets quoted in the bookies odds. He hasn't been near a managers job for years, but still gets a mention.

yeah , harks back to the days when david mc leary was always in the running when another manager bites the dust , tim sherwood not fancied any more either which is totally understandable

interviewer " iggy , do you think you influenced anybody?"
iggy pop " I think I wiped out the 60`S "

There was mention today of Garry Monk being in the frame.
He has already been sacked by Swansea - before the Americans came on board.

As a permanent manager he hasn't been at a club more than a couple of years ( Swansea,Leeds or Middlesbrough) , in fact I don't think at his last 2 clubs he has been at each for over a year.

I for one will be very surprised if Swansea appoint him as their next manager.

FdB would be straight in for Riedewald

Please appoint FDB ,Swansea as you together with WBA will no doubt occupy two of the three bottom spots come end of the season, with probably with Brighton, Huddersfield or Bournemouth vying for the other place.

What about Southampton ?
Finished 8th last season but been disappointing under Pellegrino.
Depending on how results go they could be dragged towards the relegation zone today.

It now looks like we dodged a bullet with Pelligrino and Silva as both Southampton and Watford seem to be in freefall

Agree with Pellegrino being very suspect, but Silva's state of mind has been undermined by flattery from the Everton attempts to sign him as their manager last month.
Southampton are being slowly dragged into this intriguing relegation battle, with and luck!!
