I reckon that if he ragged off he would be in pretty decent nick. Takes a fair bit of mismanagement to be fat. And as a premier league footballer it just wouldn’t be allowed.

If he now scores continues to score goals for Palace do we care about his physique ?

Yes and no. He is a great impact player against tired defenders but he's tired himself if he starts.

Maybe after January that'll be exactly the role we want from him but right now, for me I want him to be fit enough to replace that useless lump Benteke.

My heart says start him and bench Benteke on Saturday but my head says after 50 minutes he'll be puffing and won't have contributed much to the overall game.

If he can get truly fit (he may well be now he hasn't started in a while) then I don't see any reason we can't get rid of the aforementioned lump even before January when we can sign another striker or 2.

Just bulked-up! And he always put in a shift...we can do a lot worse than playing Sako. Should be regular corner-taker from right as well, can really whip in the ball with bend & pace.

I'm not a great fan of his however that was a nice cameo performance on tuesday. Simple answer for me is to bring him on last 20 minutes for Townsend or RLC. There is no real point in him coming on for Benteke as you would want both on there if you are chasing a game. Maybe Sako for Benteke if we are a couple up with 20 to go because he will chase the ball and harass the opposition midfield/defence.

as a bit of a fat boy myself now, i wont comment on that. but to be fair, when he's played recently, he's put in more effort than a certain 30m striker has. even before he scored the other nite, i wouldnt be adverse to giving him a start up front. bentek-ingthepiss, has offered very little for ages now.

When he first came he looked fit and a good player then he got injured fat/unfit, now he looks like he is getting back to the player we first got. He is the best crosser we have should take the corners and wide free kicks. I would not give him a deal unless it was pay when fit to play.

He can only keep his energy levels up for 30 mins so bench is best
