I think there should be an option for clubs to take if they think a referee is being biased towards their team. It opens up a slight can of worms but you'd need to have a hell of a lot of evidence to backup a claim or face harsh penalties. If your club win, it should allow that one referee to be at the bottom of a pecking order to ref matches for that team. Before this season, Palace could legitimately have made a claim against Clattenburg after he cost us the FA Cup and using video evidence from several other games to prove it's not an isolated incident. With this in mind and the fan reaction to the scumbag, FA could agree that it shouldn't be totally random and if his name is drawn to ref a Palace match, it's in the Club's and the Referee's interest to swap him over with someone else. I also think we fans aren't complete monsters either and the FA can learn a lot from our reaction before a ball has been kicked. We all love a referee to be a pantomime villain from time to time. Most games we're going to be massively biased in favour of our own players and in the heat of the moment, boo the referee or sing "you don't know what you're doing" if we deem Zaha has been fouled even if he hasn't. However, we don't subject the referee to abuse at half time/full time and certainly not the next time he refs a home match for us unless he is completely inept or showing clear bias against our team. Kevin Friend would be a good example of this. He was roundly booed before kick off at Bouremouth and then proceeded to have an awful game. It shows how awful it was when we get awarded 2 penalties and yet we as fans feel he was terrible. Why should he be given anymore Premier League games? Can't even blame bias for this one, it looked like Bournemouth were just as dumbfounded and furious as we were.

Just to inform one and all that 'Match delegates' consisting of former managers and players assess the accuracy and consistency of decision making of the referees and their management of the match. It's the technical aspects that are dealt with by former experienced referees. Anyway, glad to impart information to those who are not wholly 'Au Fait' with the assessment process.
And then they employ the likes of you to go on social media and try to convince everyone that the whole thing doesn't stink to high heaven of incompetence, corruption and scandal.

Their first goal and the blatant foul on Schlupp was as ghastly a piece of incompetence as I've ever seen. Three officials all failed to see King wrestle him away? Seriously?
