Why is it so difficult to police a Brighton v Palace match ?
You have the big Manchester, Merseyside & North London derby games that attract much bigger attendances, that go ahead without all the restrictions and chaos that are attached to our games with Brighton.I know we attract a few idiot Palace "supporters" these days, but it's ridiculous that away numbers have to be restricted.
And if the powers that be are so worried why on earth do they schedule theses matches to be played in the evening?

Yep... I was one of the 1400 that went... and I went because the game was never going to be called off and the lads needed our support. As a club we just looked stupid really.

I went to the replay too. Long time ago but even with the boycott and empty seats I still thought we had a lot more than 1,400 there. Then again my memory is shocking, not disputing what you say just would have guessed at a lot more than that.

I know this isn't natural but I am so f***ed off. I went to the first game and it's a travesty. I hope they get riots. That my opinion. Hope it erupts. Shame on them. Again.

Goodnight.

I am sorry but I am done. Sorry. I tried to cool down but I've gone off on one. Millwall took over 3500. 3500 to Spurs. We get 2000 for Brighton despite the only trouble caused being via the lack of tickets last time. Hilarious.

I too am relying on my memory but I'm pretty sure it was around that number. I may however be wrong.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

In the good ol days we would of got one end standing.H very different. The Brighton stadium would of taken at least 10,000 standing. Now it’s 2000 and I’ll bet not on telly. Wtf and Whitfield is doing all this
? It’s anal

I think we should turn up, fill our end, and the spaces left where they fail to show, and be louder than ever. It's another chance to show the world what our support is all about. We also need a few statement songs about how inept Brighton are at holding a high profile game without whinging to the police about allocations. God I hate that tinpot club! However, I do go back to the original days of being pulled over by the police in a lay-by on route to the 'gallstones' ground, and having the laces removed from my Dr Martens.

Song-

Not fit for purpose.
This ground is not fit for purpose.
Not fit for purpose.
This ground is not fit for purpose.
