Another game we should win but won't win. Of course, I'd love us to win, but this game fits the description of games we fail to win perfectly..! I hope I'm wrong

Believe it or not, I was at that match, 6 years old and one of my first live matches, Willie Carr and Ernie Hunt for Coventry. Will never forget it. Moved from Coventry down to south London in 1987, Palace fan ever since although still keep an eye out for Coventry scores. Don't want to go back there though - terrible place.

Don't know much about the place.Only been there once to see us play - at 'Highfield Road'. I know a Palace supporter who moved from London to Walsgrave many years ago but I have lost touch with him.

I'm predicting Smith will do nothing against us because he is banned, unless they play Brad Smith Originally posted by Willo
Both Bournemouth full-backs Daniels and Smith like to get forward so there could be space behind them to exploit. We have to be mindful when they do break forward as both have a fine strike on them from distance. The right-back and right-footed Smith has scored a screamer with his left-foot cutting in from the right - he is quite happy to shoot with his left foot from outside the area. Bournemouth play with a lot of energy and we will have to match this. Edited by Willo (06 Dec 2017 12.24pm)

I have contacts at Bournemouth but I am sure they wouldn't provide me with any insider knowledge ! Edited by Willo (06 Dec 2017 2.47pm)

Ha, one of my first top flight English games, in the good old days before the Premier Dollar League was even invented I happen to see Coventry play one of the worst games I've ever seen at Everton and draw 0-0. They had an eastern European named goalkeeper, that's about the only thing I remember. And oh yes, no tickets for pay at turnstiles. No souvenir! Originally posted by Eaglecoops
