You support 'progressive' policies whilst living in one of the least 'progressive' areas. You talk it but don't walk it.

Actually I believe that activists like Nick and others are people who should practice their principles. Unless you are living in particularity exclusive areas in London it is a poor comparison. If you aren't particularly political then that's a different matter. A progressive socialist living in a wealthy 'nice' Tory area deserves that point to be made whether you think it's fatuous or not.

Good to see you following the new Golden rule. Ignoring the sniping, does it not beg the point that our voting system is out of date? In a safe area why vote making the majority even greater, a significant proportion of the countries voters make no difference to the outcome.

I'm not left or right, i'm neither, that's why no political party represents me. I feel as a society in 2017 we have moved on from these political ideologies which hark back to an era where there was an obvious social divide between indigenous working class and middle / upper classes. In the same way I feel we have moved on and are (or should be) more intelligent enough to realise centuries old religions and faiths should be seen as no more than historical poppycock

PR is a fairer system but it leads to government that never really does much.

They surely wouldn't stay if they expect all left-wingers to live only in Labour constituencies? That would make their assertions about others bullcrap-coated nonsense if they did.
