Small matter of him being ordered to pay us a lot of money back after he did a runner. Almost as much chance of getting Dowie back. If this were an all things being equal theoretical thread I doubt he would add anything that RH is not already doing.

Hearing that Tony Pulls has been sacked. In the 5 seasons we have been in the prem, Pulis has the best win % of all the managers. I know he left on bad terms, but you would you take him back? He kept a Palace team up with a worse squad than this...I think he would sort us out. Thoughts? WBA to re-sign Pulis who'll keep them up given his record of also being brought into any club threatened with relegation and then avoiding the drop. (tongue-firmly-in-cheek...)

Gotta say the managerial merry go round is looking a bit sparse at the moment, there's not a lot to choose from

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Pulis sacked' by Midlands Eagle Pulis gets the sack after losing 4-0 to Chelsea. Not sure how others feel about it however I think this puts WBA in a bad position. There are few managers out there that can save them, maybe Sam but not sure he'd want it. West Ham may now regret taking on Moyes as Pulis would probably be a good fit for the Hammers. Watford probably won't want Pulis if Silva goes. Could be a bit of shift around, all of which could possibly help us. Thoughts?

The Sun (I know!!) is saying that Pardew is amongst the running as Pulis's replacement. Moyes and Pardew with two of the competition for relegation would have to be better than Bilic and Pulis.

Palace, Everton, West Ham now West Brom all changed their managers. Mark Hughes and Paul Clement must be abit concerned. I'd go with Clement out next and Hughes by new year if they haven't improved. What odds of Pulis back at Stoke ?

Its a real shame that David Moyes doesn't have a twin brother that could be appointed by West Brom.

IMO a big mistake by West Brom. Tony Pulis got a team of good but not special players to 'massively over-achieve' just as he did with us. They would have probably gone down without him.
