As a Chelsea fan ( hello btw) i canīt see a scenario where we sell him. He was made the poster boy for our academy, and has always been extremely highly rated at our club, which is why he is on extremely high wages(60-80k per week) for a youngster.
People like to claim that we donīt give our youth players a chance which is true( although thatīs largely the fault of the managers), but we also have shown that we are willing to integrate players that have been succesfull on loan with players like Christensen, who is from our academy, and has played a s*** ton this season, and has probably been our best CB after Azpi, and Courtois, and to an extent, even Moses.
So if RLC continues to play like he is doing this season, i am 100% certain that he will be given a chance next season.
Also, regarding his lack of end product, i think itīs worth pointing out that he should have at least 4-5 assists if your team knew how to finish, i mean, the chances Benteke wasted that Ruben put on a plate for him was simply ridiculous, and donīt forget that he also hit the post against City, so itīs not like he isnīt contributing

That last point is very valid. It was the same in the Germany game, where he provided a few assists for Abraham in particular and he promptly fluffed them. In similar vein Wilf provided a whole lot of gilt-edged opportunities for Gradle in the IC v Morocco game and Gradle wasted all of them.

If we had decent composure in front of goal then with or without Tekers we would not be standing on the trapdoor.

If you're finishing's s*** your finishing place is s***.

lucashm, the Chelsea fan's post is a good one.

Cheek also set up Puncheon at Anfield. It's not the easiest of chances and he did hit it first time and on target but, a top class player may have scored or continued the move to create a better chance.

With our full strength team and Cheek playing centrally and regularly he should prove himself more. The problem we have is we don't have the time to develop things without points.

Lets wait and see, so far he has been very good for spells in games then he is out injured no way would i buy him on what he has done far to risky.

I'm actually feeling pretty optimistic about it myself. (I know, crazy, right?) Obviously a MOTM for England isn't going to help us in that he'll become even more attractive to other teams, but we all know Chelsea's dire history with youth players. And being a local lad, he does seem to share a connection with both the area and the club. Whether or not we'd actually shell the money to get him is another story, but I don't reckon the price'll be too high, so we might have a shot.

Either way, he's exactly the sort of player we need - a proper number 10 who can provide the spark between Zaha, Townsend and Benteke. Fingers crossed

Chelsea will not want to sell but if they did he'd be out of our price range.
Just be grateful we have him for this season.

Oh dear, this site is one if the best but you have to wonder if there was a filter for daft posts like this how much better it could be.

Unless Chelsea do a Liverpool and flog players on some personality whim, there is no hope whatever of landing him. More chance of Chelsea recalling him.

Let us enjoy his class while we can.

These clubs let class youngsters go. It’s what they do. Lukaku, Pogba, De Bruyne to name just a few recent example.

8 apps....no assists, no goals.

He's promising but the hype about him is far in advance of an actual sign of any end product at all.

Hopefully his well thought of England debut will result in some actual changes to the stats above.

If he ends this season with any favourable impression that even touches the current hype then of course there is no hope of signing him.

Hype brings fantasy figures.

This!
I don't know why people rate RLC so highly.

To be frank, I think he has 1 assist, but together with this one he hardly has 3 assists in all his professional career in the PL. And he wasn't very good in the youth system either.
Definitely not PL starting material as an attacking player, which is how we're playing him

Remember you've criticised him when he's tearing it up in years to come, everybody. But no, because he doesn't chase down like Cameron Jerome he's not all that.

He was arguably our best player under frank and has just come back from injury. Played with quality around him, he shines, but because he'd been playing in a team that couldn't buy a point, he's not very good. Yep, got it.

Have people doing what they're good at in the positions they suit and hopefully we'll see the best of all of them. Frank was a complete bellend. Roy is smart. Cheek is a good central attacking midfielder. Just watch.

To be Frank you'd have to play him high up as a right sided forward, miles from the ball, then make those 1st half tactics look a joke in the 2nd half when he carries the ball through Huddersfield with only fouls stopping him. Then you'd fail from then on from not building a platform you could have, whilst also using Cheek as a pivotal player with a bit of confidence in the team and squad.

Do you not think this young lad in a new club with our amateur bullsh1t has halted what he could've done for us? Or are they just characters on a computer game? Or are Germany just a bit sh1t as well?

Enjoy RLC this season because he wont be coming back!

There is no chance that Chelski will sell him next season & if they did he would join a much bigger club than us.

In my opinion he has been our best player so far this season with Wilf being out for so long!He is a quality player & lets enjoy him in our team before he leaves in the summer.

I'm sure everyone will be delighted to see that Loftus-Cheek has just been subbed off for England with a knock. Cosmic.
