Rubbish scouting system - tick; All the money being spent on salaries - tick; no youngsters good enough for the team since Wilf's debut - tick. Edited by Kermit8 (12 Nov 2017 6.37pm)

If by the January 'Transfer Window' or perhaps during it, we are really in a dire position with little chance of escaping the drop then it is totally understandable if the 'Board' takes decisions based on the very likelihood that the club will be competing in the 'Championship' next season.

I agree.. Ben will be off also along with most of the higher paid . I do remember parish saying something about a relegation clause in their contracts about a 30 percent pay cut. But if anyone deserves champions league platform it's wilf. He prob won't get that at arsenal though.
oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton. |

And so we go on... My latest news is that Northampton Town have put in an offer like no other.. Northampton will be re-named "Wilfs Town"... or the very latest is that New York City have countered Northampton with the news that all males in New York, will be renamed to "Wilf".... that even goes for Donald Thump (the chump)... Whatever happens, happens.. life goes on bro..
Here since 81...(LAST CENTURY !!).. x-Dunraven School, early 1960.... Palace 'nut' since 58.... |

They wanted £20m for a defender that doesn't even make there match squad and yet think £35m will get our best player. No chance. I actually doubt Wilf would want to leave to join a team outside the Chaimpions league. Spurs is surely a more attractive club if he was to leave. The more I think about it the more I can't not fathom how he'd be a penny less than £60m I was thinking more like £70m.

Wilf is probably worth £40-£50m and if we are guaranteed relegation sometime in January then we will sell and understandably so.

Why do people waste time on these stupid stories? Wilf is priceless to us. He is worth a season of PL money and more because without him we will surely go down and who knows how long for.

That is possibly the most optimistic statement I have ever seen on this board!! Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger

Little chance is still a chance. He would still be worth money in the summer and I for one would consider it a major disgrace. Originally posted by Willo
