On what do you base your judgement ?

Body language. The way he performs and carries himself. The way he lifts his counterparts and fans alike. The way he picks himself up after conceding and fires himself and the defence up. The way he communicates with the press and media. Just everything about the Man points to him being a strong character. Surely you can see that?

I understand your rationale for making such a judgement based on "Body Language" but alas I would really like to know the person to judge his/her character.Sometimes outward signs can be deceiving.Maybe your judgement based on your criteria is correct.

Both keepers are not overly fantastic
The only thing I see is that the defence seem more confident in Jules.
And he does berate a mistake a lot more than WH.
Not sure why WH can't man up and shout a bit more.
Might be all that's missing from him.
I suppose like life it's different personalities in different people.

See what I mean Willo, the anti WH brigade can't even debate without resorting to profanity!

I once went to see Dagenham & Redbridge play accompanied by someone connected to a club. They had Chris Lewington in goal and he never stopped shouting, it was incessant !

We all get frustrated PZ. You were effing at me the other other day. Frustration can bring on a bout of swearing. Chill out.

Why blame Wayne?

Just seen greizmans goal. Such weak goal keeping. Pathetic

Watching the highlights he nearly let one in through his legs that bounced onto the crossbar and the commentator mentions below that he should of done better with the first goal. I was at Bristol C and directly in line for the 3rd goal. After it went in it was clear WH was very annoyed with himself for not doing better. Everything seems to be going right through him at the moment. Looking at the highlights Mandanda did some good saves. Personally I don't think we have a solid goalie at the moment but Jules should keep the gloves.

Commentator said he should have done better. He seems to freez where making himself big would have kept it out. Poor lad really is freightened of his own shadow.

ew: The footage of the French goal

I love it when commentators say "he should have done better there."

How on earth would they know?

Barry Davies used to say that all the time. "He really should have got that on target!" he tut.

Has Barry Davies had to swivel and volley a fast moving football accurately into a net that's being blocked by an agile super athlete, while young men in peak physical condition hassle him.

No, all Barry Davies could manage was holding a microphone up to his mouth and using the same predictable glib phrases to describe every single incident in the game.

And another thing. The french striker hit a shot which Hennessy did very well to save. He got his foot to the ball and deflected it onto the bar. That is a great save. I couldn't have pulled it off. Could anyone here have done better?

I still can't believe that John Jackson got dropped, all those years ago, to be replaced by Paul Hammond.

I know we need to 'blood the youngsters', to use a 1970s phrase, but still. Jackson had a good ten years in him.
