I really hope I'm proved wrong, but this weekend's results, particularly Bournemouth's and our poor result today against a weary Spurs side says one thing, we're down! Playing without a recognized CF has been suicidal. Every game we now play will bring us closer to the Championship. A saying comes to mind, 'hero of a thousand battles and lost the lot'.
Watching the West Ham team turn up with a number of strikers in their squad made me feel sick when all we've got in reserve is a non league player who clearly is not league standard.
Not forgetting we got rid of Murray, Gale and Campbell and enter a new season with Christian.
By Christmas it will be done and dusted.
I'll say it again, I REALLY DO HOPE I'M PROVED WRONG. I do want to see Premiership football next season but I don't think it will be at Selhurst Park! All very sad. Like many of us, I love the Palace and the relationship started in 1957 and it won't end. Just call me a grumpy old man, but my faith has been eroded!

Deserved a point, but for the Spurs keeper who was excellent throughout, we got nothing. The upside is we have a string of games coming up that look easier on paper, but we will see.

Still we have played all the top sides so far which was always going to be tough, unlike many that are above us...

Unfortunately our keeper never gets MOTM whoever we play there.

Been saying this for 2 seasons. Our keepers don't make those "How the hell did he save that?" saves. You know the Speroni in the play off semi at the Amex types.

I recall a teeange Gazzaniga playing for Gillingham after Andy Hessenthaler signed him on a 'Free' from Valencia.

He is 6ft 5ins and is renowned for being a good shot stopper but in the past there were question marks about his positioning at times.
Although he is right-footed he will distribute the ball with his left-hand.
I think Tottenham signed him for a maximum fee of £3 Mill.

oh i get it Jules was at fault for the goal or Wayne was was at fault for the ones he let in, now which corner are you in because your blaming our keepers for letting in goals, hart was not as good as he was against us, playing Liverpool guess what he let in 4 so maybe other teams have this problem of letting in goals no its just a palace thing

I think there are valid points in both the 'we have deserved more' and 'still nothing to show' points.

I think Roy has done well considering Parish's ridiculous management of things and we are playing better.

However if we continue to play well, maybe even with a striker, but have nothing to show from it, I feel history will not care and neither will I as we/SP will deserve to go down.

Still, signs are encouraging let alone with progress over the international break and points up for grabs next 8 games, could yet be a good Christmas!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I think Zahas and Sakho misses - which 100% should have been converted, at any level - had more of an effect on the result than their goalie.

At the end of the day, we were never expecting anything out of this game today. For me, a bore draw was the best we could've hoped for pre-game. We got no points but played well against one of the best sides in the country.

We will know our gate after the upcoming games when we play Everton, Stoke, West Brom and Bournemouth... I think all are definitely winnable when we are playing like we have the past couple games.

Three good saves and two bad misses, that on another day with a bit of better fortune would have been plenty enough to roll Spurs over.
Was at the match and again their keeper did well with the one Wilf missed, didn't bring him down but pushed him just wide enough to make the chance not a simple tap in,Wilf should have done better but is onlyhuman after all said and done.

I wasn't blaming the keeper for the goal today - mainly because I haven't seen it yet. My point was that regardless of whether you favour Speroni or Hennessey, we haven't had a clean sheet all season, and I can't remember the last MOTM performance by our keeper (perhaps Chelsea away?) - they're certainly rare. It always seems that the opposition keeper plays out of his skin against us.

In my very humble opinion only Huddersfield, City and Utd have deserved to beat us, yet we only have 4 points. Against, Southampton, West Ham and Spurs only the keeper has saved them, against Swansea we were undone by Kelly and Burnley, Liverpool and Newcastle we more than deserved a draw.
Thing is we only have 4 points and no end of unlucky defeats is gonna change that. We have to find a way to win and it must start in the next game. If we can be within 3 points come the transfer window and please God we act early we have a chance.

This...!!

IMO - we need to win minimum 4 of the next 8 games;

Everton (H)
Stoke (H)
Brighton - must win this..!!
West Brom
Bournemouth (H)
Watford (H)
Leicester

If I was Roy looking at the way we are playing and full credit to him and Ray Lew - the way they have changed things around - I would be saying there is no reason we can't take 15 points out of this run of fixtures.

This is our defining point of the season, get on a run here and we will be good.

COYP..!!
