Would it be beneficial for kids whose bad behaviour at school can be attributed to early life trauma, witnessing domestic violence, having addicts / alcoholics as parents, being locked in their room for days on end or neglect? I think it's impractical in terms of resources over class sizes. It's a lot of mental work even for one individual and you have to be very willing to put that work in.... and at a young age with damaged minds it may be unrealistic. Positive views of the classroom at that age may be helped by systems such as whole brain teaching. Maybe it could be modified to fit differing roles I don't know. I think the introduction of NLP in this school might be something to do with this...

Wouldn't be surprised if there were links between the Academy chain and the NLP provider. This is bye the bye. I'm concerned that schools are going to use what I've seen described as quackery on very very vulnerable children. Edited by nickgusset (19 Oct 2017 8.35pm)

Anyway, you opened the topic talking about the merits of NLP. Not budgets given to schools! I REALLY don't know why I waste my time... Edited by Penge Eagle (19 Oct 2017 9.03pm)
