Sam might be into a clause or two knowing parish I thought his bonus/pay off was 'handcuffed' to prevent him simply walking to another job within a couple of years?

He said today on talksport hes not interested. He has said repeatedly that the only job he would consider is in International football and that his days of 24/7 club football are at an end but he keeps getting linked whenever there is a vacancy at a club.

He is now supposedly being linked with the USA job which is a strange one for someone who retired to spend more time with his family

Sam loves the states and spends a bit of time there doing punditry and that sort of thing. An international Job is great for wanting to have more family time, less of the stress of day to day club management and still scratching the football itch. He has an easier ride because of the failed qualification. He can build the team without having any international tournament for a little while. He can still enjoy the World Cup as a fan and can spend a bit of time trying to build the next generation of the USA team. To be honest, that job is a dream for any manager looking for a low pressure project while still having a life. I won't begrudge him coming out of 'retirement' to take the job, it means that: a) he won't come in to save a struggling club in January, b) we will get a little windfall to the tune of approximately 2 million for him taking on a new job after cancelling his contract with us c) he gets a chance to repair his reputation as an international manager after the England fiasco

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

It's an absolute joke, they've had a poor start to a season, no need to sack him especially after them being pretty decent under him last season
