Both of them obviously care about Palace and Speroni did a great job today but we still desperately need a PL quality keeper, even more so than a striker after todays game. I think we might have hit on a great formation that confuses/lulls the opposing team into a false sense of security with Andros and Wilf up front. I think it even helped with the perennial problem of teams shutting Wilf down, which is something no manager has solved so far. I reckon we could get away with that for a bit at least.

Don’t change a winning team, speroni stays. It was clearly noticeable the number of times the ball went back to the keeper today. I don’t think the players trust Wayne. Always said Jules is our best keeper. Hopefully the jersey is his for a while.

He done well but so would've Wayne today imo. Have to disagree ... Speroni is more assertive in his goal mouth. I think Hennessey would have let in at least one in the second half.

Had Wayne played like Sperrin did today he would be being criticised for the goal and some distribution that put us under pressure.

If WH ws playing for this game no-one would have blamed him for that goal, we won, there would be no point, if we had lost, Sperrin (or Speroni as I like to call him) would have been criticised for it just as much as Wayne (and he has been criticised for certain aspects of his play anyway), but because of an amazing performance by the whole team we didn't and he wasn't.
