Totally agree. How not to motivate your workforce: tell them they are s***.

Isolate the inferior ones and select them days or a week or two later isn't inspired Man management either. A manager who can't man manage (do his job) is doomed.

Well we saw yesterday that Ward is not a "poor player" but de Boer destroyed his confidence and pardewed him in abkut five minutes flat. And how you get s*** performances out of someone like Milivojevic I don't know. Puncheon as you say he insisted was key but look what we were like without him. And God knows what he's done to Benteke.

De Boer was f***ing s*** and yesterday's game proves it.

By selecting a formation that does (not) suit them or him.

Play him centre back all summer before playing him in the first league game in a 2 man central pair.

Have Ward RWB to the side of him which he hadn't played in the summer and will never master.

Have 2 youngsters behind at CB, either side of Dann. One only 4 days at the club.

Have the best midfielder (Cheek) right forward.

PVA having some traditional Dutch football feud with Frank.

Bob's your uncle. That's how it's done. Luca ruined.

As much as i wanted Frank to succeed, i'd have totally agree. He was a shocking 'manager' as all he seemed to do was rapidly undo everything Sam had put in place. Destroyed numerous players confidence and then assumed his formation would some how win the day on its on.

When all that failed he done a pardew and hung it on the players.

I doubt he'll ever manage at a high level again, certainly not in the Prem.

Lets hope yesterday was the first signs that Roy has quickly managed to turn the ship around.

We've decent players, they just need to play in position and given confidence through proper training.

Exactly. It wasn't necessary to play 3 at the back to evolve into a passing team. It's been done for decades with 4 or whatever formation. Sort that first, get the confidence to do that high and then tinker. He was a stubborn w&nker using us to show how clever he thought he was. He decided on formation before he got here or is clueless thinking we'd suit it or that we could buy it and all we ended up doing was stockpiling defenders.

All that and expecting everyone to be as good as he was makes him far from smart.

Exactly, good passing and movement are techniques, not a formation. Anyone who thinks you can get good passing and movement just by changing your formation is a muppet. Mentioning no names.

Toons just given away a sloppy penalty. Reckon with Andros, RLC and Zaha going at them we will have some joy. Don't let Cabaye take a penalty, tho. Leave that to Luka.
