Start him every game, what would a goal against Chelsea do for him, or any prem goal for that matter. This is priceless experience. Must start.

Ladapo any given match for me. Looked positive, moved his legs and some nice flick-ons after making his debut at Old Trafford. Don't waste time & money on old donkeys like Cole, Lambert etc....play Freddie from start till (at least) Tekkers is back...

If I was Roy, I would drop Schlupp, move Sako out wide on the left and put Ladapo upfront. We've got nothing to lose and I think we should at least try Sako and Ladapo - The pace and crossing of Sako and the physicality of Ladapo.

Give rawness a chance, I remember seeing the first matches from Stan Colymore and... now what was his name.. Wrightly Lol (love the red & blue specs on MOD- now thats support!!)

Look what happened to these players from where they started, we gave them a chance!!

RE Stan, came to us from Stafford Rangers, I thought we was mad to sell him on to Southend (but he was s frustrated understudy to Bright/ Wright, then how much did Notts Forest pay then Liverpool then Villa.(relative highs sums back then)

As for Wrighty, he came from Greenwich Borough...we all know what happened...where he went, what he did lol
Years Team Apps (Gls)
1985 Greenwich Borough
1985–1991 Crystal Palace 225 (90)
1991–1998 Arsenal 221 (12
re his background
"..After six or seven matches, he was spotted by a Crystal Palace scout after a tip-off from Dulwich Hamlet manager Billy Smith and was invited for a trial at Selhurst Park. Having impressed then-manager Steve Coppell he signed professional terms for Crystal Palace in August 1985, just three months short of his 22nd birthday" Then we know what happened!!

Get Freddie in the team. I went to see him in a Palace reserve match when he first signed and I was impressed.

The longer we keep him a reserve, he wont develop, give him the chance and see if he can make a difference.... remember what happened on his trial.. " In March 2016 Ladapo went on trial to Crystal Palace, during which he scored a hat trick in an Under-21 match versus Watford." I think hes a "confidence" striker so get his score one and let us see.

Come on Freddie, give him a chance, he has the potential, just needs Palace to believe in him!!

I think that’s a good shout

Sako's not that fast but he still might do a better job than Schlupp, I'd say give it a whirl.

As I've said in other threads before, saw him play a couple of times at Margate & he was the best player on the pitch. In one game he had a DM & CB try & mark him out of the game, taking it in turns to kick lumps out of him.. He still scored & was probably MOTM.

Having also seen Vardy play at the same level I'd say Freddy was a more complete striker at the same stage in their careers. Whether he can make it on the big stage or not will only be clear if he gets a run in the side & I can't see a more opportune time than now.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Having failed to make the bench today, i think Mr. Ladapo will not be around for long.

Ladapo is a horrific football player and anyone who is coming on here stating that he should be starting up front really needs to get a grip.

Been thinking about this and I'd actually say Roy is probably in the best position to know if he's good enough.

It's not like Roy hasn't any experience at this.
