Your sycophantic undying loyalty to Parish may be admirable but perhaps stick with you cannot reply to any of that. Or read it again carefully.

Oh and some of the approaches in business Parish has without doubt made, he seems to have ditched with Palace in the last 2 years.

Mistakes have been made. Bad ones. We know. But even so, to turn on Parish after what he’s done is poor.

Who's 'turned on Parish'?

No one, obviously. He’s more popular than ever.

Not sure about that. He may be popular on hol radio but lots aren't too pleased with what's been happening, and that's long time supporters. I said a while back that one of these possibly won't relegate us but add them together, and they probably will. And a lot have been avoidable or unnecessary.

No ones pleased about any of this, but I think the OP was trying to make the point.

That it's time like these that the club and players need to feel the fans support to help lift the club. Rather than the opposite.

That in no way means there's not responsibility to be taken nor that mistakes haven't been made. Just that Palace right now needs all the help it can get, including that from the fans.

Think about it, has there ever been a better time to be a Palace fan?

Supporting is about getting behind a team. None of us can kick straight, so let's not pretend we know better than Puncheon or Hodson how to play the channels. (Or whatever the technical term is)

If you know more about making money and investing it in football clubs, why aren't you chairman? I can't think of a single valid criticism of Steve Parish - other than the fact that he's mad enough to sacrifice his precious time and fortune, just so fat blokes in the stands can tell him to "sort it aaaht!"

The one thing fans can do is offer the support that players need in a time when confidence is low.

This is our chance to perform.

There has never been a better chance to show you care. (Think about it, you can be as passionate as you like if Palace were in the Championship. But the cameras won't be there and nobody will care. That's the way of the world)

So, this is the time when support is demanded, and we get the chance to supply it. Are we fulfilling that order?

Instead, what do we get? People moaning and undermining the morale of the players. They're humans for FFS! Their ability hinges on their belief in themselves. Players will ask themselves: Can I risk taking this man on, or will I get booed? If you want to crush that belief, then maybe you should ask yourself why you turn up to Selhurst Park every week.

Why not go to Fairfield Halls and watch the wrestling? That way you'll know the result. Giant Haystacks loses and Big Daddy Wins. So go and become a Big Daddy fan. If you want to degrade yourself even more you could support Chelsea.

(Note: Check if they still so wrestling at Fairfield Halls)

This is a fantastic opportunity to invest love in a club which is at the bottom of the ladder, in a global market that's booming and bountiful.

So stop being so miserable.

If beer makes you sneer, you're not wanted here.

If inebriation, leads to celebration, then please alight at Selhurst Station.

well said OP.

I know what you mean. Fair point they are handsomely rewarded for that they do.

But does booing Puncheon make him play better? I imagine it makes him more worried about performing.

I'm guessing here, but I imagine footballers are pretty motivated about putting the effort in. That's what they do and it's what they are good it.

But if they're terrified of making a mistake, I can see why they might want to go through the motions and not take any risks.

I don't know, because I never played football in front of more than 10 people.

When has Puncheon been booed? I've never heard him called a useless c*nt a few times, but never boooed

He has f***ed up royally and is entirely to blame for out current position. THis has been developing over the last three seasons.

What do people have to pretend otherwise?

We are going down and the only thing to do now is to learn for mistakes and return immediately at the end of next season. That will mean spending money, and not waiting till midnight on the last day of the window.

Will Parish learn? Doubt it.

The two points that I would make are firstly that he "sacrifices his precious time" in exchange for a salary of close on £700,000 a year and secondly I, for one, am not fat
