The realty may very well be that in 3 weeks time we are played 8 lost 8 scored 0. This would likely mean we have 30 games and a -10 points difference to make up. Logic says if that is the position we are dead but miracles can happen and escape would be the greatest achievement ever by a Palace team.
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

Our defence in theory is now good. What we are crying out for is attack and goals.

There has to be something fundamentally wrong at the club too many managers too quickly, good managers running out the door though some not too honestly, ive lots of time for sp but it don't add up, it ain't right, and if Roy can do it any differently I will be surprised

Both Parish and Frank are at fault on this one. For it to work it would've taken 3, possibly 2 windows. That's essentially where it went disastrously wrong. Either of them thinking our budget could achieve that from where we were was never likely to work.

If you employ someone to SLOWLY bring about a change in style and they immediately go against this agreement. You think it's stupid for sacking them and not backing them with all the clubs money? Mistake made, and corrected. To say we should have backed him when you hear all the rumors of unrest and see how out of depth he had players playing.. Really? Seriously crucify Parish for giving him the job in the first place if you want, but to say he should then compound the mistake by backing him and keeping him in the post, when he's clearly gone rogue. Na, he had to go.. And i very much did want him to be a success, but he absolutely had to go.
