Had Palace sorted out the Sakho transfer a month earlier, and FDB picked this team, would we in a different position now ?

Having Schlupp on the left wing should hopefully keep Walker in check, and perhaps give him something to think about defensively with Schlupp's pace.

No because Sakho was injured and couldn't have played.

I think Tomkins - Sahko is our strongest combination at the back. Dann lacking in a bit of pace this season but a strong line no less. I would have handed the armband to Luka (or Wilf if he was playing). Finally, Punch and Ward dropped!

We would , because Frank did not know how to pick the strongest team available.

Even if Sakho was fit hhe probably would not have
played him , or put him on the right wing.

If Iceland can beat England, then we can beat Man City.

Perhaps we should utter the Icelandic chant - or would that be disrespectful to Roy?

Well it's a fair point that we wouldn't be where we are now if we had had a manager that picked our strongest team instead of f***ing about conducting his own experiments during six-pointers. My point was merely that the manager, whoever he was, could not have picked that team because Sakho was not available. If we had played Tomkins next to Dann instead? Maybe.

Talking before this game today Paul Merson says we are down, relegated, done.

He will be "shocked" if we pick up a point in the next three games.

Paul says the CPFC players' confidence is so low: "They could walk under a snake with top hats on their heads."

Paul Merson is going to get shock. What a knob. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool last season - it wasn't that long ago.

Pay no attention to people like him they forget we got very good results against big teams not to long ago.

This is 5th game and only 4 points to be outside that relegation zone so how you can right teams off already is stupid.

The other thing is those punids see things how they want when talking today they tried to make out Palace only had two chances against Southampton but the highlights they showed was 7-8 chances also they claimed Southampton dominated when they didn't at all

Merson is funny one he changes his mind every second if we get point out of this game we will say we are fantastic he was like this when we got promoted but then watched us for few games and was kissing ass

I don't think they forget, I think they just prefer to ignore the fact as it doesn't fit their agenda
