We all know, deep down, that Puncheon will start As much to do with smoothing himself in than anything after what's gone on. As said also, I bet he plays better, which will of course have its downside. But the next 3 are hardly there for the taking, although I've got a feeling on Chelsea at home.

Just like every manager we've had in the premiership since he came on loan. Which includes a manager who famously hated him. Average premiership player, in a bottom scraping premiership side isn't a bad thing.

Just said in his press conference that Loftus-Cheek and Tomkins are fit. Zaha out, but Sakho is training well - just needs to build physical fitness, game time etc. So I think it's very likely we'll see Sakho vs Huddersfield in the cup, but Hodgson could take a risk and throw him in tomorrow.

I suspect it will be the Puncheon formation, that is :- Puncheon Puncheon Puncheon Puncheon Because the captain has told Roy how good he is.

I honestly think Roy is wise enough to see through the whole sentiment piece as far as Puncheon is concerned. If he does play him tomorrow and he doesn't perform I've every confidence that he'll leave him out of the starting XI going forward ... fingers crossed!

In that case Hennessey then when Puncheon turns out still to be s*** pull him off, push Loftus-Cheek up and bring on McArthur in midfield.

Must be great being Benteke. Knowing you can play awfully and not break a sweat but your starting place is guaranteed. And there's the £120,000 per week.

I'd have thought he'd start with a solid 4-4-2 employing attacking fullbacks to push the formation into a 2-4-4-2 when attacking. once we start getting points on the board I think he'll have the capacity to try different 'flavours'...evolution not revolution (now where have I heard that before) What I am a little concerned about is his liking for Zonal marking...I hope he doesnt try and adopt that as it could easily undo any good work on the shape when facing corners.
